Thank you for the beautiful tour and a walk down memory lane. I lived in south orange from 1974-1984. I attended Columbia high schools d graduated from seton hall university. I LOVE south orange I wish I could afford to live there now. I lived on Fielding Court and south orange ave. My mom worked up the street. Everything in walking distance . It’s very special to grow up in a college town . Best years of my life!!!

I'm not too familiar with this town but from my brief visit there in January it seemed like a safe and pleasant downtown area to me.

South Orange is completely safe just like its brother town of Maplewood, only reason you hear bad stuff is because of neighboring towns and city like Newark, Orange, and Irvington. But yes South orange is really safe.

@@frenchchicken2799 I like Livingston, Millburn, Springfield, Westfield, The Caldwells, Verona, and Cedar Grove. I don't like Irvington, Montclair, Glen Ridge, Bloomfield, and Newark.

@@donaldcalloway8155 Yea, I like Upper Montclair though it's pertty nice. I lived in South Orange, and Millburn and currently live in Maplewood till I go off to college. If there wasn't a high crime town and city close by Maplewood would be a very safe place to live. Good with diversity and free thinking.
