Great guide league started with it havent had a regret with it (currently on pre-sandstorm version) One thing is I do find using enduring cry little tedious as best defense seems to be just distancing myself and enduring cry range is very short. Do you have any thoughts on alternative? Also how does low life/life stacking version of hexblast mine compare to this build?
Planning to start a new build, probably Trickster Hexblast Miner to see how it feels to maybe start with it next league (ofc depending on patch notes) but before I do, two questions: 1) what are the map mods the build can't do? 2) how about altars? any effect on players that will brick the map?
the notes explain how to craft and get endgame(5) wand, but how would I go about getting the pre-sandstorm(4) wand and getting the crit chance for spells/+1 to chaos skills? Is it with fossils/essences/harvest? Still fairly new to the game and understand all the basic crafting and some advanced crafting.
another change to note is that shadow gets access to Dark Arts when leveling now. This makes the build incredibly fast post Library once you start leap slamming with 5 frenzies and haste.
@@4thace44 its just a powerful wheel for leveling since its mastery is 60% increased dmg when dual wielding different weapon types and gives a ton of attack speed which shadow typically never got access to. so in acts 1 and 2 your looking in the vendors or loot on the ground for 1.5+ atks weapons and u just keep them in ur swap while u level to 28 with 2 goat horns in ur main swap. at 28 you craft the flat fire spell dmg craft onto ur swap and now instead of pitiful 2-4 flat fire spell dmg goat horn implicits ur weapons basically have 30% increased dmg on them from the mastery. then at 31 in library u can purchase leap slam faster attacks and ur set for a super fast post library leveling experience with pyroclast mines. high impact mines supports skills wands/bows can use. you dont need to be holding a wand/bow to throw the mines tho u can throw mines with or without any weapon equipped. leap slam does however require melee weapons that arent daggers/wands/claws, but the dual wielding mastery is better than what wands offer u especially since ur starter weapon is gonna be a dreadarc axe, and u can pair it up with something like a singularity sceptre for some cheap increased dmg once ur in maps. once you dont need a dreadarc anymore id spec out of this and use a good wand + a shield instead.
@@4thace44 the reason why Dark Arts is such a powerful leveling cluster is because of the attack speed which is essential for leaping slamming speed and the dual wielding mastery which give 60% bonus damage when wielding two different weapon types. typically you play with goats horn wands up to level 28 and until then check vendors and random loot for high base attack speed weapons (1.5+ base). usually this is a rusted axe and rusted sword and just throw them in ur weapon swap. then once u hit 28 and have the dual wield mastery aswell and the flat fire spell damage craft on ur melee weapons you swap to those instead of wands. this essentially means that these implicitless weapons now have 30% increased damage each on them which for this point in the game is much better than anything wands can offer you unless u highroll a rare. at around 35 you can start looking for a grinning fetish sceptre which also have 1.5 attack speed base but the added benefit of 18% elemental damage implicit. after that ur good to go for the rest of the campaign. high impact support doesnt require wands, it needs to support a wand/bow skill, after that u can throw the mine with anything. and leap slam does require melee weapons (excluding claws/daggers), but once you have the dual wielding mastery that gives 60% increased damage when wielding two different weapons, that will offer you more than wands. and since ur starting weapon for hexblast is gonna be a dreadarc axe you can combo this nicely with something like a singularity sceptre as well as the hinder on curse mastery for 160% increased damage from just ur weapons which will be a nice cheap boost in dmg for early game mapping. id spec out of this cluster after i no longer need a dreadarc axe as the dmg a crafted wand/shield offer at that point is much better.
@@4thace44 You're missing that you level with Pyro mine, and that mine supports anyway only support wand/bow attacks, but don't care which weapon you equip for spells.

Ye it's pretty braindead way of building tree for leveling
First league ever, what's a good strategy for first days with the build? Harby Expedition works?
First off - thank you! really pumped to try this. your end game jewel setup has a watcher's eye with anger on it. is there some sort of interaction at play here with it? or is that just a placeholder
sorry - and cdwt has IC with it right?
@@jjmccaw1 immortal call is unticked to show defenses with guard skill down. the watcher's eye the spell suppress grace mod is the only one we need, the other mods can be anything
tyty's build looks sweet
Mr ventrua sir, what things would you prioritize in order to boost damage if I wanted to do something like sanctum early on
Great question 😊
@Ventrua How do we deal with ailment immunity? Getting destroyed by ignite etc
Everything is in POB. Ignite immune is from flask
alternatively ancestral vision jewel if youre spell suppression capped and then ailment avoid on shield/boots
I'm having trouble being able to throw one more set of mines after I have 20 mines down. I feel like I have to have the mana reservation node 'charisma' to be able to make it work.
This is huge thank you and I can’t wait to hide in sanctum :D
Cant wait to see u rerolling to occultist for pure sanctum farming
If youre pure sanctum go occy
Gonna be trying this for league start, wondering what type of atlas setup you run with this?
Whats your bandits choice?
Late game - Kill All, Early help Alira.
Where is despair? It has the balance of terror but I dont see the jewel anywhere that casts it
Ill try locus mines PS trickster. but this build is surely solid starter for leagues now that scales good into endgame
Nice pob man, do you have a filter to league start that good for this build?
Whats the thought process behind anointing skittering runes when we switch to curse on hit and profane proxy?
i was going to ask this myself, im playing this currently.
@@Reedolio how's the build so far? tried ls warden and ls deadeye. currently level 93 and im strugglin with some t16s that arent even that juiced. died a lot so im tryna find a new build to try. was detonate dead last league
@ventrua, in your expert opinion, what scales best with more investment, like 200+div and beyond. hexblast miner or the flavor of the month nova of frostbolts?
I am struggling to go CI and getting my resistances and chance to suppress such up to max... I just suck at this game i guess i have all the uniques with decent corruption but when it comes to rares i am unaware of many many things
This might sound like crazy talk, but if i were fine even with half the endgame dps, what would your pathways be to make the build tankier? Also going for int stacking in the late game with stuff like evasion per int mastery, less dmg taken per int and lots of ES?
Is endurance charge source only enduring cry?
The only downside for me is the mana flask issue, i'm not big on it. But the alternative shown in the video is worse.. need to find another way to fix it
