My mom still uses hot rollers and has done so since she was in high school!! She had the same high school set until I was maybe 5 and I still remember the color of them and her doing her hair every morning. Finally they gave out and got another set, she’s been using this for a good 10 years! Her hair is fabulous and so freaking healthy!!

So pretty! We used hot rollers back in the 70’s all the time with our straight hair, that came out looking about the same as yours. Hard to believe they are back in style again (for Gran-millennials at least) in 2022. Much easier than sleeping on hard rollers like we did in the 60’s! FYI - Just stay away from those perms we did in the 80’s😂.

Nice jobs but I got a kick out of your excitement over hot rollers. For this soon to be 70 year old, first came sleeping on rollers, some actually used orange juice cans. Or, we’d wash our hair for a date, roll it wet, & wear a drying cap. Now that, my dear, made for some serious curls. Then electric curlers, but they were (and still are) clumsy to travel with. So then came the curling & flat irons, which are actually a modern version of what my grandmothers used. And now I’ve come full circle back to hot rollers. Everything old is new again! Your hair looks very nice.

Nice job, but I have to say it’s hilarious to see someone so excited over (the return of) hot rollers. Approximately 150 years ago my middle school buddies & I slept on “curlers.” Or, we rolled our hair wet & dried it using what looked like a big shower cap with hot air blown in. Now THAT, my dear, was some serious curl! A few with long hair actually slept with their hair around orange juice cans to straighten it to a soft curl. Then came the hot rollers I used for years before switching to curling irons because they’re much easier to travel with. Now, I’m back to my teen years with more hot rollers.

Super easy! Thanks so much. My hair is a bit longer than yours and I have long layers so it'll be interesting to see how it turns out. By the way, I'm a die-hard Kenra Volume Spray fan! In 25+ years I've yet to find any other hairspray that I like as much. :) Debra

Hi there, I just found your video so apologies for a late reply/question. Do/did you get creases/dents from the clip (I have T3 too)? I mostly get it from the top rollers.
I have similar type and length of hair so I can’t quite figure out why...thank you

Her method is wrong. Too big of sections. Vertical placement is best.
