Since Eunice ended up in Hollywood as a stunt double, I bet she managed to get her dream of a 3 bed semi. What an absolute legend, even after all these years it still warms my heart to see her win.
Glad you enjoyed this series of Gladiators. Others have suggested it as well but it would be great for you to react to the first series of International Gladiators after this before doing Series 4 of the UK one. It features gladiators and contenders from UK, USA, Finland and Russia and is great fun. There is also a second international series a year or two later as well as more celebrity specials and two "Ashes" series featuring UK v Australia. I've been really enjoying these as it takes me right back to my childhood.
Eunice is such an amazing winner, she went on to be a stunt double for Famke Jensen in "Goldeneye" and for Angelina Jolie in "Salt". She appears in 3 shots in "Goldeneye" when Xenia kicks Bond in the spa, when he throws her over his head in the spa and when she flies up to the tree during her death scene.
Sadly Eunice never kept the jeep, because it was a soft top and she lived in Liverpool, the insurance on it was more than the vehicle itself soo she sold it, but Eunice did get work afterwards as a Hollywood stunt double including in Tomb Raider from 2001.
At 1.10 you said that you will react to the two 1994 special episodes. After that, if want to continue following UK Gladiators in broadcast order I might suggest that you react to the first series of International Gladiators referred to at 11.20.
I think the one they did after this was the first series of "International Gladiators", which Jon Fashanu did with "American Gladiators" host Mike Adamle in Birmingham.
It didn't get any better than this. In the women's, Eunice sealed her status as the GOAT of Classic Gladiators, while in the men's, perhaps the Classic show's biggest what if. If he'd not been collared like that, I think Sam could have still made a comeback with a strong Powerball performance. Always have a lump in the throat seeing Shadow's expression in the aftermath. A couple of specials then on to International Gladiators, which I remember from a repeat run where the announcer declared "muscle bound mayhem! Fash and some American bloke present International Gladiators!" Just when you thought the opening titles couldn't get any more ridiculous, they did. And I'm not sure which series, but there's also the celebrity special featuring Mr. B. Walsh competing. Dunno what happened to him.
1.The reason Phil replaced Sam is cos he was the highest scoring loser in the semi finals ahead of Paul Beswick.2. There is also the 1st Ashes series where some of the UK Gladiators and contenders travel to Australia to compete.3.Shadow would appear in one of the specials and the International series before being fired. Scorpio would also make her final appearance in the International shows before having to retire due to an injury.5. Cobra recently said that Paul Field injured him for real in the gauntlet.
I have to say and agree not good way to end final there was questionable decision and that tackle from shadow wow just glad he ok. But this is why don’t do drug but I think they should have canceled power ball after that injury as it almost happened again. But overall two winners where predictable but unfortunately there opponents went up to it on the day of course Sam got hurt so that did not help but looking forward to special
Pure facts. Off the back of you getting me back into vintage UK Gladiators a TH-cam vid recommended a US original documentary. Those guys and girls went through effing hell to please the producers only to be paid very little.

Being kicked in the spa sounds painful.

When rewatching it, at 53:12 Sam when under Wolf when he have a clean way by going to his left and not his right
Eunice also became a Gladiator one of their live arena shows, pity she didn't make it to TV as a Gladiator

IIRC they cancelled Pyramid after this season because Jet got seriously hurt on the event at one of the Gladiators house shows they ran.
That’s false, pyramid is the next series too
@@jordanb966 it must have been after season 4 then.

Shadow is in tge specials and the first series of international gladiators before series 4
Sad exit for Shadow yes but don’t feel sorry for him.
They stopped the show because of so my injuries and back stage conficks and the gladiators were all sleeping with each other it was a total mess

We had gladiators before America
Nope. American Gladiators started in 1989. UK Gladiators started in 1992.

I saw that documentary too, it was so sad and heart breaking to see the way they was treated and still no one taking responsibility for the injuries 😢
