Hunter was one of my favorite of the UK gladiators. Always such a good sport. Great show of respect from him touching his pugil stick to his opponent’s before the duel.
The prize money was pretty poor even for 1994 . It was all for a really good cause , surely they could have found better sponsors ? Comic Relief raises millions every year but the vast majority of it barely raises a smile from me .
It's actually pretty common on shows with all male guest contenders. They always put the lady Glads against the celebs in events that require little or no body contact, such as Danger Zone, The Wall, and Pursuit.
I love that Fashanu keeps trying to get the Forces guys to belittle the women, prompting them to say they'd slow down to be caught. Props to the men for being respectful and saying they were fighting to win.
He wasn't, he was suggesting they wanted to be in contact with them because they are hot af, you utter simp. Edit; I would slow down for Jet, damn I wouldn't fight any of them off 😅
He was basically suggesting that the men might slow down to get intentionally caught! Because who wouldn't want to get caught by a beautiful female gladiator lol! It's a compliment to the ladies : )
Atlaspheres should have 3 to be fair . But I guess it for charity. But impossible to block 3 spheres for 2 gladiators. I didnt really like the contender Paul.
She took a leave of absence for this & the International 1 Series while she was giving birth to her child, this is probably the only time Ulrika wasn't actually on Gladiators this time
Never really understood why, when the "normal" male competitors got chased up the wall by the male Glads, the elite armed forces super fits got chased by the girls.....
This is what Saturday night TV needs to return to in the UK . Families today would go crazy for this and it would be a massive rating success

Yeah it should've been 3 on 3. It kinda cheapens the episode even if it is for charity.
