Dude! No way would I have dared to cut those stone sills, would have mated more stone to them! Hope all turns out well for you. I absolutely love your project, huge but will be worth it in the end!
I cannot open the link to buy. Can you help me with this?
@@Caligirl68maybe restart your device. The link opened for me.
Super
Nothing more beautiful then a man building a home with love and care for his family.
I was just thinking that imagine what a labour of love to make sure his family is confortable how Fantastic!
It is a great gift being able to watch you twice in a week. I'm going to follow your channel until we all move in. LOL
Lol
If only!😅🤣🤩
That’s what I thought too!! Yay, two videos!😊
holy moly we are so lucky 🍀 gonna buy a lotto or two 😂 p.s. I am at work now and don’t feel guilty watching ur vid at all 😂😂😂
😂😅🤣 love the idea. Move in together? Always wanted to live in Italy😊🫠 Hardly can wait to see the new windows. 🪟🌫🪟 done ✅️
What a treat to get another video so soon!
You post 'em more, I'll watch 'em more!
OMGosh! You’re spoiling us with 2 videos a week. I love it! Great work guys. I know there is a lot of work that goes into filming and editing these videos and I really appreciate it.
Love it when English speakers say "what's the English word?", means you're well on your way to integrating into a new country, culture, language and life. Bravo.
If they din't know what Italians call their construction supplies, they wouldn't be able to walk into a store and buy what's needed.
yeah, also mixing up or getting confused with two languages. That's part of assimilation process.
You and your family will never be able to sell your “casolare in pietra.” You’ve put entirely too much blood, sweat, tears, and love into it. Also, your sweet wife and daughters will forever remember how your love for them drove you to work to exhaustion to provide them with a uniquely beautiful home. 👨👩👧👧+❤=🏠
hopefully it will become a generational home, handed down
How sad it was to see the window sill shortened, but understand why and you’ll still have the window sofa. Such hard, dedicated work. You inspire me to do more challenging things around my house. I’m post back surgery 12 days so watching you work and create gives me great delight. Thank you so much!
Get well soon!!
May JESUS bless you! I know HE Loves you!!!🙏🏼
Involving the family in any activities at home is a great mental education. I believe Alexa and Chloe will grow up to be humble, environmentally sensitive, independent and skilled individuals. It's all thanks to Brady and Heather for being the ideal parents to raise their children.
The look on your face, complete with stone dust, at 24 minutes, is priceless. Youy're on your way to being a master stone cutter.
Your upstairs patio/deck is going to be such a lovely spot to sit and relax and survey your kingdom 😊 ❤
👑here is the crown for the Kingdom. 😊❤Love the wording.
I'm a stone Mason in the states, instead of cutting your cill next time, drill holes and use wedges, a lot easier and less crap to clean up. Love the show. Keep up the awesome work.
I keep admiring your stonework that the stone masons have done as well as yourself
Now I understand why Italy has so many inexpensive houses. Good lawd the work involved to make this liveable isn't for the faint-hearted! 💚
Absolute understatement!!
This was a pleasant mid week surprise! Can't believe how quick the reno is moving now. So excited to see the finished product.
Those windows will be a great place to read a book or have a coffee early in the morning and just meditate on the view
What a treat!!!! Another episode this week.
I was struck today by just how beautiful the house is looking already. You and your stone mason team have done a wonderful job. Can't wait to see it fully restored.
Wheeee!! Woot woot !!! Another video during the week!❤❤❤😊😊😊
I love the deep sills that the windows have. One can imagine themselves tucked up on one of those sills on a rainy day...all cozy, watching the rain fall and enjoying that gorgeous view. The house is going to be amazing,!!😊
sublime :)
We agree!! Absolutely a treat to open TH-cam and see you posted another video...
Thank you so much!!
Will watch soon... just getting super ready!! 😊😊😊
We all cannot wait for the finished house. I love Italy, the Alps down to Calabria
I check for new videos before I go to bed, and after getting my morning cup of tea. That's normal, right?
Yesss, I'll say that's normallllll🎉🎉😂😂😂❤😊
What a glorious day. Aaaaah, Italia. How I miss you. There's something very unique about Italy and where you have chosen to live, it's extra special. Bella.
I don’t know why anyone would leave this beautiful place. If I had my wish I’d be living there.
In this video, the way the light was coming through the downstairs window hitting the gorgeous stone wall… Have so enjoyed watching your renovation on your barn but that was the transitional moment it went from barn to home. Skilled stone work you’ve developed!! Hope the stone masons appreciated your willingness to work with and learn as much as possible from them, Brady. Thank you for the twice a week videos!
I am loving this 2 videos a week.
Hope it will continue
The view from your window looks like a painting! So pretty!
You have nerves of steel, Brady!
This is what we need 2 videos in a week...
It rhymes 😂
As someone who has spent 3/4 of a century doing and experiencing many…many things…I love watching you do things that I wish I had thought of. I’m Italian…have done stone work, carpentry, traveled, live in many places, and I must say you and your family have blown my mind. I can’t wait to see what your next video is…👍👍👍
:)
I so look forward to the chimney of the bells. Great job on the window frame and winch.
Chiming
Love your videos.
I admire all the planning and thought you put in to each step, and patience of course!
I am so enamored by the detail that you apply to your work. It goes actually beyond that, you have a sensibility of what can be, could be would be and you make it happen. I applaud you in your artistry and workmanship, it is very impressive!
Aaahhhhh, exceeding expectations!! Expecting 'just 'Sunday episode and now spoilt with an additional Saturday and Thursday episode. Great work in both ways!!!
polo.
Thank you very much for frequently sharing videos of the progress made during the renovation of your house. I must say, it is really enjoyable to watch all the videos without getting bored. As a student, I find them a great stress reliever when I am preparing for exams.
Totally love that we are getting TWO videos a week! Keep 'em coming.
That is going to be one magnificent home when you are done. The views are spectacular
Yay an extra video!
Use those cut off stones in the Bathroom/Shower as soap dishes. Carve them out to a dish and have them sticking out of the wall. Be an awesome story piece!
soap ;)
@@davidstuart4915 Damn, I had one chance lol
Ingenious lift! I would definitely patent your lift! Amazing how creative we become when necessity insists! Heather is creative to w/ her ideas about the renovation & participation plus all the hard work she does to edit these videos🙏🙏🙏Blessing’s
That lift has been in use here since forever 😂 I really don't think it can be patented!
@@beaconeersofthesevenmaps3467 I am confused then. Brady said in the video that he made this new lift & thought it through to replace the old one.
@@lauraquigley6403 because there was a similar one before
Wow! That window has a million dollar view! Future merch idea: print and cards of that view. 🦌💌❤️👍🙏🔨🔨🔨
It's becoming a very beautiful house. All your hardworking and patience are finally paying off.
What a treat finding a second video! Those windows are a labor of love and will be worth your time getting them right. Can’t wait!
Please wear a mask when sweeping the dust just like when cutting silicosis is an extremely dangerous disease and has destroyed many people’s lives.
You are an amazing person look after yourself.
Second that. They need to be healthy first to enjoy this place together for many years to come.
The surrounding 6:46 views just blow me away.
well when you cut and hammered that first sill stone my butt was puckered
Loving the multiple videos! In all the time I have been watching you that "It's messy" scene made me LOL!
I have to say that the mid-week videos are fantastic ! Keep up the great work you guys!
I'm all about more window. 👍
Love the mid week vids. Place looks great, keep it up!
You need a set of feathering Steel wedges to split the entire piece off the bottom sill plate. That way, it comes off in one piece to use in different application.~~
I know it's hard work for you, but it is so relaxing to watch you work and see your progress. Thanks!
Aww thank you so much for sharing this beautiful journey with us I can’t wait to see how everything turns out after it’s done
Woohoo we ❤ surprises
All I can say is WOW!! I haven’t watched yet, but I agree with so many others, what a treat for extra vlogs this week! The vision you guys have had all along is coming to fruition and helping those of us who didn’t see it, to believe😂! How BEAUTIFUL! With your work ethic and the INCREDIBLE craftsmanship of your Italian team, your home will be a masterpiece.
The window stone work is amazing. My dad’s side of the family are stone 24:32 masons and bricklayers. My daughter is a stone mason bricklayer foreman. Your work is appreciated from us in the mid west US!
Wow Brady! Look at you turning into a Master Stone Mason! Well done. You are a wonder. Rest will ya? 🥴
Heather, you are an amazing booster & a lot like me, appreciating every little bit of progress. 😊
Much love you guys ❤ Keep on keepin on, you are rockin it. (Pardon the pun. 😂)
I now see signs of a home as your family goes forward. Your recent video updates are encouraging. Love the view already finished for you. May you live happily ever after!👋
This is very exciting!
If you're giving us more than one video a week, that means things are really moving on a pace 😁❤😁
The fact that you CAN do so much to this structure to make it fit your more modern aesthetic while honoring and preserving the historical features and
facade of the building is just amazing!
Thank you for another video so soon. ❤
Imagine doing all this work, not once but twice more. I began building my own first house at the age of 23 took me 5 years doing all the trades. The second home was a Sunday school conversion which took 2 years, i was 41 then. The third time I converted a chapel and was 54 when I started and took 7 years to complete. I kept pictorial evidence of most of the home constructions and still live in the chapel. I admire what you are doing and the thought going into it. I know you will have highs and lows through out the build and suffered them myself but the drive keeps you going and the success will come. When you can sit on the terrace with your morning coffee admiring the wonderful view and say we did this . An achievement not to be sneezed at.
You guys are so hard-working and it's a labor of love for the most important people in your lives. Thank you for sharing your journey with us what a blessing and a gift of another video. Thank you. 💝
Yay, you're spoiling us by another video this week! 🤗
I have a similar card carrying device which isn’t for 💰 I actually use 3 a red ONE for Driver’s License and insurance or medical SECOND a grey one just for financial cards and THIRD grey with a big red heart for my aide to go shopping with my cards. These hold up to 6 cards which shoot to the top……Very useful for a woman….elderly which I am.
That was so sad watching you break off that several hundred year old stone around the window.
What a nice surprise! I so enjoy your videos and the family's journey getting it all done❤
Windows are usually put ON the window sill, and not behind it. At least in Germany. If you put them too deep down, you will get problems with snow in winter. Hope you will use at least the right screws for mounting the frames, with 2 different threads on them.(4th generation of window maker family writing this).
Must visit India and see beautiful places of uttarakhand and Himachal Pradesh you will love it accordingly to your taste
So exciting‼️
Ur home is really looking beautiful
I'm following from the start(sometime when you've started to dig the floors), you're doing a great job and it's great to see how your dream is coming true... It's just nice to see you and your family enjoy the progress
And guys that have been helping you are great 👍
Brady just👍❤️ for all the work you've done
Yall never cease to amaze me on your journey. So many amazing talents. This house is going to be magnificent!
You're such an inspiration. Well done on the winch setup as well as all the stone work. Thank you for sharing. Take care and stay safe. ATB to you all from the UK.
The colors of the rock walls is beautiful. You are really creating a nice 🏡
Bravo. Another Encore
Holy cow! I know it will be gorgeous, but that's a tremendous amount of 'nail biting' work! ❤😊
I’m glad to see another videos so soon. It’s so fascinating what you and your family are doing! Great job!
How exciting to see another video!!! Thank you for posting again!
I’ve been watching almost from the beginning. It’s one of the most absorbing channels out there. I love the warts and all. It’s nice to be in on some of your decisions too. Oh the dust! The dust! What I have concerns about is what your darling, hard working, problem solving man is going to do when the house is finished? Mind you, there are acres of land after that…it’s such a privilege to be on this journey with you. If I ever visit Italy, I’ll drop you a line and bring supplies and 🍷 wine xxx
Nice to see you all during the week. Awesome job you all❤️🙏
What a treat! Window prep-huge advancement.
Nothing is easy with the stone house, but will be beautiful! Blessings!
I think his sense of achievement would be pretty wonderful too.
You work so hard, you are all amazing, the surrounding views and birds and bells sounds are beautiful, love from the UK ❤
Oh it broke my heart when you had to cut through that beautiful stone on the bottom part of the window
Thank you very much for frequently sharing videos of the progress made during the renovation of your house.👍👍👍👍👍👍
The work that is going into this renovation ❤
Dusty & exhausting work, putting yr learned chiseling skills into further action & the outcome is amazing! Love yr work Bradey, love yr work.

Perfect place for plants.
no plant would take that hard earned view away! soak in the view from now til the day u drop
Great, 2 videos this week. I am so glad to see you wearing a respirator, ear protection and also eye protection. My prayers have been answered. Take care of your health please.
I totally agree with another person's post. It's great to see more than just 1 video per week. I enjoy your videos. Your home is turning out beautiful, great work! Thank you, and God bless you guys.
😀Underbart, vilket proffs du är !👍 Ser fram emot en ny bra video Varma hälsningar från Sverige🇸🇪
I was sweating right along with you! Nerve racking! Can't wait to see the windows!
Your house is really looking beautiful.Cant wait to see you move in.
When you were grinding the rock on window, I found myself covering my nose and mouth to not breathe the dust!! Lol. So funny.
The same here😂
And, me too! I was actually squinting through the dust cloud!
So sad to have to REMOVE part of that sill plate. I could hardly stand ANY removal at this point! All of the work has been soooo meticulously done. And are the stonemasons gone, for good? You must do something special to recognize them. All cleaned up! Ha! Loved them…..! Ginger from Michigan
What a spectacular view out that window!
Brady-you amaze me. You work so hard. Heather and the girls are so lucky to have you making up your wonderful family. ❤
