It's unfortunate that Go Vacation doesn't get the love it deserves, I've seen some GameFAQs reviews here and there giving mixed opinions on the gimmick controls to pull off tricks, but really I find it to be the definitive Wii Sports on Switch. While I don't have as much interest in playing it as much as I used to I still come back to it from time to time from its novelty of activities and just all around exploring. Great review!

Go vacation really is a understand gem and it would be epic if namco made a go vacation 2 or ported we ski and we ski and snowboard as a set to the switch. I just reviewed Pokemon Scarlet so if you enjoyed this video you would probably enjoy it to. Thanks

Honestly this is one of my favorite games ever. Had it on the Wii and immediately got it when I saw it was remastered. Love the open world, wish we could see a sequel with expanded ideas. Nice to see others giving it love, it's super underrated!
I just ordered the Wii version along with a copy of we ski and snowboard. I can't wait to see the difference between the switch and Wii versions
This game was so far ahead of its time on the wii, and we still dont have anything like it even now. It's truly one of the greatest games ever made especially with the couch coop

Go Vacation needs more love. I have both the Wii and Switch versions, and love both of them. Although I probably would not put it on top of Wii Sports Resort, it is far better than Switch Sports! I am glad that I am not the only one who thinks that this is an amazing game!

Great family game! I have it on Switch and Wii. I like that it can be played with Joycons or Pro Controllers. There is a lot of fun unique things to do in this game. It’s most fun to play multiplayer with family.

Excellent overview of my favourite Wii & Switch game. Nice job! My favourite thing about Go Vacation is the sheer amount of stuff there is to do. Outside of the open worlds, the game is chock-full of activities like building an animal photo album, hidden mythological creatures to find, hidden areas, and tonnes of references to Namco games! I also give it 10/10. There's not a single thing I don't love about it.

I dont understand how Nintendo made such a good successor to Wii Go vacation, but then Switch Sports is no where near Wii Sports (Resort). I just wish they gonna remaster Resorts and make it a little bit like Go Vacation, this game is very very good👍.

The mini games on the wii sports games are more fun and I love whoo island, but the free roam and some of the mini games in go vacation, and I love all the vehicles and the skate board and rollar skates in go vacation are so much fun, if they added the wii sports mini games and added a woohoo island map it would be awsome and too have some miis as npcs too

Grew up playing this with my family on the Wii I play Xbox but I really considered buying the switch to just play this game but I’m hoping it’ll come out on the next switch that way I can just buy the switch 2 at this point
It probably won't come to the next Nintendo console sadly but if the next console is backwards compatible with the switch then you could play it there

I am kind of on the fence about this - I have Ring Fit Adventure and Switch Sports and they are fine (Ring Fit is awesome) but I would love to play with my family some cool motion control games that are not in Switch Sports. As someone who is contemplating on buying this game I just have 2 questions. How many games have motion controls and is there an online component. I'm already sold on it but just curious about those details. I'm hoping bandai namco could do a sequel for this game bc this is what the next step in the sports series should be. Still hoping for Nintendo Switch Sports Resort in coming years.
I don't think it really has any online stuff just local multiplayer or split screen multiplayer. And I'm not sure how many use motion controls because I mainly only play with the stick console option but I think there's probably at least 20. I'd definitely love a sequel so much
It can be played with joycons or pro controllers. The pro controller option uses less motion controls. Mostly for steering, which I enjoy.
I feel like the game pretty much fell on the radar because Nintendo fans are notorious for having a hate boner whenever other companies or small indie studios release their own kart racer, party game, or platform fighter. I always felt like Wii Sports and Wii Sports Resort were overrated. They're mid to me. I would enjoy them for a little bit and then easily get bored after a while. I feel like they were so overhyped because they're a Nintendo IP. I wish Bandai Namco would roll out with a sequel. I want a sequel to Pac-Man Party as well. That's another game that was underrated. It was way better than Mario Party 8 & 9.
I've played pac man party on the 3ds and it was fun but a little slow

U pick what time of day you want before you go into the resort. It can be noon at the marine and mountain.

The problem with this game is that it looks like a game for Nintendo 64.
It has graphics like the GameCube. It really is a Wii game so it's graphics are not too bad. At least it looks fully developed unlike Pokemon Scarlet and violet
