The nostalgia I have from this game is insane. I used to play this game with my brother just chasing each other around in the cars or on horses

I started out with a Mii, but changed to an Avatar because they looked prettier and there was more clothing choices.
i have it and i just HATE how the npcs just mindlessly run into you and then get mad at you
I think the way the switch version has no motion controls is going to bring new life to this game

Got a couple up my shelve for this year. It's 3DS that gives me the most dread. Though thanks to Kwife doing most of the footage for this game, we were able to get a review up in about a week.

Thanks for the review! I loved Wii Ski and Snowboard (I traded in Wii Ski for it) and I'm going to go pick this up when I pick up The Sims 3 Pets later today as well.

yup! IF you play it the way the game shows you. play it my way. Wii mote held steady, all turning down with the motion controls of the nunchuck. Works much better.

Actually there is an 8 Bit GTA game coming to the Wii Ware soon. It pokes fun the classic 80s games,movies and GTA over all. Retro City Rampage arrives later this year for Wii ware & 2012 for XBL

nah Wii Sports resort doesn't offer as much as Namco's game does. They basically used the same model as We Ski, improved it and added some mini games and more sports. Though its a bit late to the party and would have made more sense to release over the summer or Spring then the Fall.

RPG's are very long. While I love Namco's Tales series on GC & Wii. In order for me to do the game justice, I would need to play the whole game...cause that's how I review. Since views are down across the board since April for me. To do the amount of work I would put into that game, the script and everything else. It would be worth only a couple hundred views or couple K. In order to keep this channel going with the glitch, I have to provide almost daily content and short vids
How many of the mini games use the balance board? How is it set up with the controls? Do you need to switch back & forth constantly?

kind of, though they sound and move like Light sabers. Tron is still very big in Japan, but its Scifi tribute non the less.

Is the nunchuck really, really necessary for moving around or is there an option for just the wiimote?
Wow this game looks like it has everything thrown in it. Seem's a bit overwhelming, but I have been looking for a game thats replaces Wii Sports Resort, would you say this would be it?
Finally a mini-game copolation that a developer did a great job! I hope nintendo makes a game like this with mii's.

I never got the chance to play We Ski 2, we only own the first game and thought it was ok. Just a fun relaxing Ski game. Personally I like the newest game in the series. Race car driving, exploring, Sword battles, on rails shooter, Wind Surfing, third person skirt gun fights, scuba diving, Tennis, whack a mole, Half Pipe, driving vehicles,treasure hunting and many more. Though today im doing Batman Arkham City stuff. Got to move onto the next project now.

Screwing up Mini golf was a shame, same for gliding, parachuting etc.
i have go vacation i love how its like a mix of lots of games like diving activity at the marine resort is endless ocean 1 and 2 and building your villa is like sims 1 2 3 and its my favorite game on a wii but i dont like how they made the city resort so small

NOA gamers are skeptic for Nintendo games in general. A lot believe the word of mouth how bad Wii games are and they don't try the game for themselves. In my reviews, I try to showcase the game as best I can. Review it, let them know its features, replay, bad stuff etc. After all that and Ive presented the game in a way that looks decent to them, they give it a shot or buy it. Im not from Europe so I have a different way of doing things, but I appreciate the fans I have in Europe

This would be a fun Wii game to have, lot of stuff to do and all of activities are lame. Most are fun. But you will enjoy the open ended goodness and find stuff to do outside of the mini games.

We need a better sequel for the nitendo switch! With mroe resorts(good luck thinking more of them) more activities(again goodluck) and even more things to do!
Seems more like a HD remaster to me for its official announcement from Nintendo just recently.

Regarding interaction with NPCs: I'm pretty sure I saw something in Nintendo World Report's 1-hour preview where he talked to someone and they would follow him around and play some minigames with him. It seemed like you could have up to three people following you.
where did you buy it? beause at the store i saw it at it was 39.99 not 29.99
This looks like a type of game that would work with Nintendo Wifi but I can see why its built around local co-op like the good ol days. This looks kinda fun actually

Looks like a worthy competitor to Wii Sports Resort. That open world idea is definitely a nice touch too...until I realised that if the controls suck in a lot of the mini-games, then no...doesn't work for me.
I Don't know how to unlock the sword fighting game... Can you tell me where to find it?!?
I've tried with ocarina but i haven't see none sword fighting game what so ever

it was ok. Im watching Kaze No Stigma atm and loving it. Nice blend of Humor and Action. Alot funnier then Angel Beats, that was more of a Drama then comedy.

It looks surprisingly good, although i can't say the competition holds a very high standard.
The only problem i have with the nun chuck is the wires im looking for the wireless one

The game is not meant to be about the mini games in my opinion. It’s all about the adventure and the exploration! I have always liked just going to the snow area and going to different points on the mountain and just going down. That kind of thing is so fun! This is my childhood game and it may be my favorite of all time!!!!!
Then support the developers and buy it again for the Switch!

Interesting review. But I disagree with a lot of it. The controls work very well IMO. And this game is Wii perfection. What other game allows you to scuba dive one minute and light sabre duel the next?

we rented this for a weekend, and it was AWESOME!!! my brother and i kept fighting over whose turn it was. i wanna buy this but had to see if it was really that good. looks like its worth it. :)

I played the game at redbox and its really fun its a better version of wii ski and snowboard might not have as many stuff but i reall enjoyed and different type of game for each level i recomend it
