Great video Khan! I've been demonstrating EZ-Robots to educators for the past 3 years. It's truly an incredible product. Any educators who are thinking about getting into robotics should definitely investigate EZ-Robot.
Robots.Education, you sparked my interest! Will a taller EZ-Robot be released any time in the near future???? Also could I get a mostly-working one for about half off from you. So I could display it on a shelf basically.
Very nice video. I switched from Arduino to EZ Robot about 6 months ago and really like the platform. It's very easy to build and start playing with as the video shows. The EZ Builder software is also very flexible allowing you to dig deep into many areas, text to speech, facial recognition, gaits, etc.. It's definitally a platform you can grow with.
Update: Welllll... My Dobi F8 has a bad servo 12 of 17. Which happens with robots, there's so much tech crammed in them. So... I may end up with the EZ-Robot because its parts are modular and can be replaced. Until a better person-size robot comes out, Dobi may have the most potential but EZ-Robot seems to be the most repairable for casual users.
If you use EZ Robot for your robots brain you can use servos for movement, the camera to see, text to speech so your robot can say anything you want him to say, add on sonar, GPS, Wii remotes and so much more. I will be glad to see your robot when you get it built.
Is the code stored on the robot or on the app? If on the robot, can I teach it: if see (face#) say “hello face#” ? If it’s all on the app, isn’t it just an RC robot?
How the heck did I miss this one?!?!?!?! He's still not as agile as my precious baby Dobi F8, buuuut I like the control app on this one. I wish Dobi's smartphone app were more friendly. And I wish Dobi accepted better voice commands so the phone app wouldn't be as vital. I can't even find Dobi's windows app. But I found out my Dobi likes cardboard better than dancing on a rough floor. Cardboard is the best so far. Anywho I may take a look at a EZ-Robot, if they made one three times taller I'd be more interested. XD Maybe I should just have a kid!

+John Pyle I agree. I will be building my own robot based off this. Stay tuned
This is one of the best unboxing videos I have seen! Awesome!! I use EZ-Robot products almost exclusively now in all of my projects.
+Justin Ratliff Thank you, and yes I am feeling the same way now haha

Really?! That’s surprising man. I’m so sorry to hear that. JD is a great robot too
My robot Dave uses EZ Robot for his brain and software.
I also have JD and SIX from EZ Robot.
+David Mc just checked out your channel. Pretty awesome!! I plan on building my very own now after reviewing so many
