Yeah... This is basically Cozmo's "bigger" younger brother. 3 cubes..... LED eyes..... Tank tracks..... Codelab..... Yup, it checks out.

Pretty much. I was surprised this wasn't being released *by* Anki.
More like downgrade.
This probably was released 6 months after Cozmo. They probably copied somethings and make some things better but changed the hardware because of copyrights.

How did you get a gomer
I think he gets sent a lot of these for free to review, so my guess would be the company sent it to him. If I am wrong though, hopefully Khan corrects me!
I know this is unrelated to the video but my cozmo came without a wheel cap on his left back wheel. Do you know if I can get one anywhere? It's too late for me to exchange him too.
Specifically the white part that snaps onto the red section of the back wheel.
Contact Anki's customer service. They have been really good in general with sending people replacements, some even for free depending on which part you need.

I think they have copied almost every feature from cozmo except its screen and design...but still it has less number of sensors than cozmo and I don't know why but I still like cozmo more than this thing...also Anki's new vector is twice smarter than gomer as the new vector has now a full coloured LCD screen..and it has 4 sensors and a laser sensor to detect object distance...overall gomer is no match against vector (the new 2018 cozmo) as vector has internet access and deep learning neural networks...❤️ The cubbies of cozmo are awesome and has more functions than those of gamer...and Anki give the charging dock with vector/cozmo but gomer don't come with one..
I don't know why I very like this Gomer... I want to build it soon of I had money.. I don't know why but its cute yes cozmo cute too.. But Gomer Emma.. I like its he is can carry a thing he smart too.. That I like him
