We love our 4630. We use it for everything from burndown herbicides in the spring, to lay by, to spraying fungicide on our peanuts, to summer weed control, to defoliating cotton. It's light years ahead of the old 7000 tricycle that we had.

I have worked in parts at a John Deere dealership for many years and everytime we get one of those sprayers in it won't sit on the yard for more than a week or two and is sold again. People just love them. Congradulations on a great purchase.
Well in my area here in Missouri the farmer that are still stuck on on the green and yellow love this sprayer even some that have got away from the green still kept this sprayer.

Congratulations, the price on sprayers are over priced for what they are compared to what all is involved with a combine. But like you said it is definitely more used and needed to produce a profitable crop. I replaced my 3 point sprayer with a pull behind Hardi this fall. I would love to have a spra coupe for my operation but out side my price. I am really going to miss the all in one setup.
Seems like all used equipment is holding its value well if it’s maintained. We ran our old sprayer 7 years and got within $4000 dollars of what we paid for it back. With any luck maybe we will do that well on this new one when we get ready to update way in the future.
No more green equipment left on my farm due to the gps issues you mentioned… no way I’m buying a new piece and have to spend 15,000 more $ to make it work

I don't now what you guys us to put in your tank for winter we get a 30 gallon of windexs the winter blend it works really good for us we also put it in or cotton picker
How do you get the booms to do the auto-fold/unfold? We just purchased a 4630 as well and it does not do the auto with the double tap of the buttons. Great video!

Congrats on the new sprayer. Now how about a side by side comparison with Matt Griggs sprayer. And you will be warm. Are you going to install your two way radio (There's a video). I worked on a Ryegrass and wheat farm when I got out of the Army in the 70's and the first year I installed 8 C.B. radios in tractors, combines, trucks. Did not put them in the windrowers. They sure made a difference and saved us a lot of time.

We had one just like yours it was a good one for us the only reason we got rid of it we pick up more ground I think it will do you just fine it never let us down
I bet that was a big jump. We went from a tractor with a 40-foot boom to the Patriot and thought we died and went to heaven. I hope we will be just as pleased with this upgrade.

My buddy and his father-in-law are trying to go from two smaller machines to one big machine. They had the 4630 I bought and a 4730. They want to go to a machine with 1200 gallons tank and 120-foot booms.

Thanks. We looked at 854 RoGators a lot when we bought the patriot. The only negative I heard about them were that they rode a little rough. I believe they were a lot heavier built than the patriots.

I ran a jd4630 for 3 years on countless acres. It was a great sprayer! Section Control was a lifesaver and we saved on alot of chemical.

We used -20 below windshield washer fluid.
You will be happy with the 4630. It is much stronger in wetter land than the r4023. We love the small frame JD sprayers

As a technician, they are good sprayers , service hubs every 100 hrs or so and keep axle slides (in spec )
