NOTE 1: This video was filmed in September, 2023 in Aaquora, Lebanon.
NOTE 2: In this video (13:30 and onward) we meet with Syrian refugees who live and work in Lebanon. I recognize that the issue of Syrian refugees in Lebanon is a politically charged issue. My goal in this video is not to take sides, but only to show the reality in Lebanon and humanize the issue by speaking with both Lebanese and Syrians.

On our recent trip to Lebanon, Mia and I took a trip to Aaqoura, high up in the Lebanese mountains, for the first day of the apple harvest. We were expecting to see (and maybe even eat) plenty of apples, but what we weren't expecting was to meet such great people and enjoy our time so much. The farmers we met with, mostly from other Middle Eastern countries like Syria and Egypt, were very welcoming, nice and fun-loving.

I know people in Bosnia & Croatia so I've mainly gone there, but I'm actually going quite soon to Serbia!
