TBH, the Switch is about perfect for what I want. Give it a bit more power when docked, a slightly better battery life when undocked, and clean up some of the controller issues, and there's nothing more I would want from a successor. /shurg
Hardware is definitely the bane of this console gen, especially the Switch. Having a solid controller at launch would be an auto positive. One thing I'd like to see, but almost invariably won't happen, is better third party support/better processing. It honestly feels like non-Nintendo publishers don't/can't optimize games for the system with any consistency. This probably won't change since Nintendo inevitably just... doesn't do what other hardware developers do.
I agree, coming up with the basic design of the switch was lightning in a bottle (along with releasing the cheaper/smaller Switch lite) They could iterate on it like with the DS line (better hardware, updating features and visual design, etc.) but I think the core functionality is basically perfect for what it is.
Lol steamdeck and its successors will eventually overshadow the switch. The only thing they dont have are exclusives, but with so many games on steam, emulators and pc games i dont necessarily see that as a negative. Hopefully Nintendo makes better hardware in the future. I do still feel like Nintendo walked so the Steamdeck could run. Seems like everyone is copying them now days and i love that. Its good for them to have competition so theyre forced to improve.
"bad" builds on 32 Heat is wild, I'm so glad you do them because you make it look too easy xD also helps when you get the lucky seed in Tartarus LMAOOOO
@Haelian 30:19 you asked if we mind you just going and talking about stuff, but i actually really enjoy that 👌🏻 I kinda just like it in general when streamers and content creators just talk about different things while just playing a game. Great stuff my friend and keep up the good work ❤️
Always thought Dio on the attack was underwhelming. I stand corrected. And yeah, Curse of Vengeance for the Double Boon is an interesting, but useful fact.
I often wondered how good a build like this would be if you went for the call instead. Like imagine replacing artemis with zeus so you get the smoldering air duo boon, and have the call regularly for huge hangover damage.
i think the reason the switch caught fire the way it did is because by the time it came out nintendo hadn't done a true console in years. the biggest thing about the wii u was that it was more handheld than console but failed at being both effectively. the switch is a fairly decent, non-expensive console that can also be used as a handheld.
A big reason that I bought the Xbox series x was its backward compatibility with all Xbox games-it would be cool to see a Switch-like handheld with a dock that has hardware slots for Game Boy and maybe DS games. I know you can emulate on the Switch, but a more modern version of the Game Boy Player would be neat and could draw a lot of long time fans.
I never would’ve played Hades without the Switch. It’s just not the game I’m gonna sit at the PC for. Plus it makes long flights fly by in seconds Yeah I basically just want another Switch OLED with better specs
I call game currency gold usually, but only if the game kinda leans towards that aspect (like hades sorta), if it's a fromsoft game (not ac, credits there) then souls, and otherwise if the game has a simple name to it's currency and doesn't use a gold-like analogue/isn't a fantasy game then i just stick with whatever they call their currency
It kinda depends on what you’re running on the mirror. If you take infernal soul aphro or Poseidon are best in slot I believe. With Stygian soul I really like going for dio and getting some casts from chaos. But in general I like to try for mirage shot so I would suggest starting infernal soul with Poseidon keepsake
switch being portable is a lifechanger I almost never play in the dock. I just want it to be as powerful as modern consoles. run at 60fps with more games. and fix ur online play too Nintendo
I'm curious to see how they compete now that the Steam Deck and about a billion other competitors trying to do the same things the Switch does are out in force. Is that a market where an improved system can truly thrive, or will people be reluctant to make another large hardware purchase just for Nintendo? It seems their recent success was carving a new gaming niche that the other major console manufacturers weren't investing in, and was in spite of fairly constant (and mostly deserved) criticism and issues.
Why is it in every video I see on this channel you have a relationship with everyone but Persephone? Before I forged it myself I thought it was impossible with her
Nintendo has never really missed on their handhelds. Even the 3DS was way more successful than a vast majority of consoles ever made. Also they don't have to split dev resources any more between machines.
I legit used something similar to this build and oh man I got the 5 spread hammer with triple shots plus a beefed up trippy shot. Never done more burst damage ever 😭

5:16 there's the gold pot you missed that would have let you buy that Dio boon from the shop :)
🤓

Really appreciate that you do runs on 32 heat. Haven’t cleared it yet but I’m getting there!
Let me know if you want any tips on build, mirror, or heat! I've cleared 32 with 11 aspects, 20 heat with all, and sub-10 min with 3 weapons
@@Marcus-oj9xw I think I need the most help with my Pact of Punishment setup. I know it’s supposed to be hard but I don’t know what I can do.

I'd love to see you do a similar build with the fists:
-Dio strike
-ares special
-aphro dash
-curse of nausea
-curse of longing
-low tolerance

26:00 the 3D effect was such a waste. It was decent for a few games, but the whole 3D fad has died out for good reason.
this is actually how i play most my runs!!!! i love the boon combos from the four of them even though dmg can be lackluster :p

It's gold or coin for fantasy games and credits or scrip for fantasy. Easy!

I honestly just call all in-game money “bucks” it just feels right in every situation.
Switch 2 will be called the "Nintendo Swap"
literally just a slightly more powerful switch with no joycon drift is good
I'm down with that too
how many time did you vanquish hades in all of your save files?
This was not a meme run. This was glorious :')
If they call it the Switch 2, they will have missed the perfect opportunity to call it the “Super Switch”
not on stream?
I use Hera on the bow and never know which cast to use, any suggestions

Unless otherwise specified I always call it gold. Although hades I think calls it opals and I still say gold
Such a fun run !
I call currency...currency lmao

Definitely call it the Switch 2 and make sure the ads emphasize it's a new console.
Souls. I always call them souls.
I always call in game money dollarydoos
Best name for the new Switch is the Switch Domsub.
Go to term, ‘Coin’
I call game currency gold, unless I'm playing Elden Ring, in which case I call it souls.
Why is it in every video I see on this channel you have a relationship with everyone but Persephone? Before I forged it myself I thought it was impossible with her
Depends on the game to be honest. For most games I just call it "money" or "monies", but for a game like fallout it's obviously caps
Ive got a Deck. I don't see myself getting a new Switch no matter what🤷
Nintendo has never really missed on their handhelds. Even the 3DS was way more successful than a vast majority of consoles ever made. Also they don't have to split dev resources any more between machines.
I call everything gold
Monies
