"data driven vs anectodal evidence", "expertise doesn't necessarily mean you know everything, it means you know where to get the information", this video felt like a lab meeting but with 100% more shared suffering in a good way =)
At 22:00 is when you kill the butterfly ball. You got the shared suffering applied, and then your attack connected 4 times (1 for each enemy in the line, someone got hit with the other half of twin shot too), so it dropped 4 shared suffering hits on the butterfly ball and iced him. 1300 damage and you didn't even attack him directly, what an insane combo.
I just started playing Hades a week or so ago- enjoying it a lot so far. In regards to dash strikes on controller, I've found that you can just press the attack and dash buttons simultaneously to use it. Made sword runs start going a ton better.
If you're on controller, rebind your dash! I have mine on L1 and it makes dash strikes so much easier. Also, I don't think he mentioned this, but the reason you should always dash strike with the bow is that dash strikes charge _much_ faster than regular attacks.
I wonder if the duo boon reduction chance is just an offset the compensates for the overall increase in rarity from minibosses. So you don't necessarily have LESS of a chance to get duo boons from minibosses, but rather, approximately the same chance, which just seems like less, because everything else is much higher rarity. Or like... where yarn might give you a lot more duo boons, minibosses don't, so it seems like the chance is down
Rama Zeus Special is my favorite build in the entire game, hands down, especially because it's so easy to acquire and doesn't require other gods' blessings at all. Build up the lightning special, get as high with "double strike" as possible, add Splitting Bolt and PP and a 40% special speed if you get lucky? Unstoppable. A single press of the button unleashes several hundred damage to up to 7 enemies. No recharge time, no setup, you just hit the button and you're good. Also I keep Mom Pom equipped after the first biome because by that point I only have boons that I want to have increased. No wasted slots. I sell everything that I don't absolutely need, that way it's only my special damage, double strike %, or crit % that gets upgraded. No pom is wasted.
I’m not sure why one would compare the arty/dio duo with hunter’s mark instead of with pressure points, which it is a lot more comparable to. The duo is 7.5% crit if you are hitting a target with max hangover. As compared to a triple pommed epic pressure points at 7%. So if you have a compatible build (ie easy to apply and keep hangover) that’s how you should value the worth of the duo boon, it’s equivalent to a strong pressure points. A boon that you got right after this discussion, the Artemis god gauge boon, is one that I think has potential even if you said it was the worst boon in the game. I had a build once with the arty/dio duo, support fire, pressure points, and a fast hitting weapon (rail, can also maybe use Rama special or perhaps the regular shield aspects). Basically your goal is to get as much crit rate as possible while also hitting as many times as possible. With the Artemis god gauge boon you can actually charge the god gauge really quickly, which can make for a good Artemis or dio or even zeus call build.
A building question I've had for a while is whether or not Sniper Shot is actually worse than Point Blank, or is it just that it can't synergize with Triple Shot?
Great video, although it seemed really strange for you to not take Artemis Special several times when you had Hunter's Mark. Since you hit lots of enemies with the Special, you would probably mark an enemy fairly often. Then, because all the enemies share damage, it doesn't really matter damage-wise which enemy is marked except that you just try to shoot at the marked one. Would that not lead to a massive crit chance buff for you overall?
it’ll slow down the game for him if he collects them, and at a certain point in the game you don’t need them anymore. You only need to pick up the darkness to move on
Based on how long you've played the game, your anecdotal evidence certainly skews more towards analytical evidence, just without some of the number crunching. Your sample size is certainly large enough to make valid assertions about the game.
I’m so confused why he doesn’t take Artemis special at the end if he doesn’t have a special and is already using special so the extra crits would be very nice especially for triggering hunters mark

Crit Rama is actually one of the most fun aspect I used to clear 32 heat with, the other being gilgamesh tidal dash and hades exploding launcher build
Other honorable mentions are merciful end Zag fists, eris cluster rocket bomb and tank arthur
How about dio cast with the aspect of hera?
@@eyalcochva416 I did that and the thing is you need to pray for extra casts since you need stygian soul

I don't know how anyone who has played a Fromsoft game can tolerate Hades without remapping attack to R1, special to R2, and dash to B.
@@rentalcustardI play on switch so dash is already on b lol
@@rentalcustard I mean I LOVE FromSoft game button remappings usually, but Hades is just so different to me that it doesn't matter almost

Thats a rough erebus, gorgons and flame wheels with the shield boosts...woof

Tip: remap dash to a trigger on controller for smoother dash attacks, essencial for powershooting and it makes the bow aggressive as fuck.
for some reason i keep messing up the timing of dashing in the dad spin
Hunter's Mark, to be quite honest, is basically a "beat the Heroes in 20 seconds or less" tool.
