He’s great!!! Going on my list of wanna-makes! I’m one of those strange people who actually likes snakes, the non-venomous ones who help keep the rodents out from around my garden. You did a great tutorial, very easy to understand, the music is perfect, sounds a little mischievous and makes me smile, thank you so much!!! 😊💕
Thank you for this pattern. I wanted you to know that it's the perfect size for some slapsticks that I recently purchased! I think they were 3/4 of an inch wide. 9 stitches work well. I've recently made 8 and am working on my next two. One set of colors will have safety eyes, and for the babies, i will embroider the eyes. Thank you again.
Yay, my favorite color, green! I think this is a good size for the snake. I usually don't like making them because i get bored doing all those rounds but I may give this littler guy a try! Great tutorial and tip!! 💖🦋
Hi Robin, thank you so much for making this tutorial. I love the way you explain everything step by step. The color changing tip is awesome and will definitely come in handy for many projects. Thank you! ❤
this is a great pattern, just made it using parfait bloom chenille and its gorgeous!! and yes it is still the good parfait haha thank you for writing this
Thank you so much for this tutorial! I am new to crochet, and have fell in love with this craft. Your snake looks awesome, and I am going to be making one very soon. ~Kari
I got to rows 7&8 (decreases) and started second guessing all the work I did. Should I always be going into the outside loop only or both loops? Then when decreasing, are you making 3 loops or just the two on the hook? Sorry if these are silly questions, this is the first tutorial I'm trying from you 🫣 thanks in advance, I'll keep going and see how she turns out!
Do your decreases in the front loops only this is an invisible decrease. You go under the first front loop then the second front loop then yarn over and pull through two loops yarn over again and pull through the last 2 loops left on your hook.
@@KnottingHookCrochet ooh thank you, I appreciate you taking the time to explain 💜 I'll try this method for decreasing. I'm using a thinner purple/green/aqua variegated yarn, so we'll see how she looks. I'm excited 😊
@@KnottingHookCrochet YES Hon, you were wearing them❣️❣️😁I was saying that because of “All the excuses we hear from those who “Just can’t crochet at all, it slows my yarn from feeding thru my fingers, etc etc when they say they try to wear them”‼️No Hon, I’m very proud of you because you DO WEAR THEM & ON CAMERA TOO‼️‼️ So good to hear from you Dear Friend, take care❣️Loves Ya’, Barb 😘

There are different sizes for each breed of snake, for example; ball pythons are alot bigger than hognoses, corn snakes are about as big or longer Than hognoses, and then the worm hunter snakes are small and thin and are rarely sited cuz they eat worms.
hello, not sure if anyone will see this but for this tutorial can we use normal yarn instead of the chunky one?? would it still give as good as results as how hers turned out??
Ok, so when you did the first stripe of light green you said to work them in BLO...but the second light green stripe is only BLO for the first stitch and the rest of them are the full stitch?

You’re welcome! Those two tunes I just love the rhythm so when I use music I tend to gravitate towards them.😊
Great size for the snake. You are right, no need to make it bigger. I like the green color combo also. 🐍❤️
I agree!!
Yes we just had the coral snake discussion... I won. Red on yellow kill a fellow - red on black friendly jack.😊 My dad would be proud.
I can’t ever remember that rhyme so I just stay clear of live snakes 😂
That’s not true in all of the United States so best to leave them alone unless you know how to identify them
Awesome job! Thanks to you I'm stuck on those adorable bunnies! On my 10th lol
I’m gonna be stuck with you because that’s my plan for today😂

I wonder if it works with rainbow loom, well other then that I really love the dessin and u should totally make more!✨🐍
I need to I only have one left.
Thank you so much for this tutorial. All the others I have found, the head is too big.
Could I make this longer than what you have? Like a super long one?
You can make it as long as you want
hello, not sure if anyone will see this but for this tutorial can we use normal yarn instead of the chunky one?? would it still give as good as results as how hers turned out??
You can use regular yarn it will just be very small
Ok, so when you did the first stripe of light green you said to work them in BLO...but the second light green stripe is only BLO for the first stitch and the rest of them are the full stitch?
It’s for your color changes
Is this good for beginners?
Yea
yes it is
Can you use a 4 weight yarn ❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤
I don’t see why not. It will just come out smaller.

Is there a written pattern.?
No there isn’t
Made a slight mistake and used big twist plush. This thing is coming out big 😂
I'll bet 😬
