Raid Boss: Why do I hear boss fight music that *isn't* mine?

The fact that this is free _and_ works with all races including lalafells makes this all the better.

as someone whose main healer is AST, whose favorite color is purple, and who loves the cosmos, this mod is absolutely beyond a 10/10

I love how pretty the spells are! I think it might be a bit too much purple for me, but it came out really well otherwise and i'm definitely going to use some of the stuff.
As I'm someone who plays a lot of end-game content, some spells are just too flashy / bright to use them (CO covers your whole screen, playing cards covers your whole character), here's to me hoping there's a more content-friendly approach to them c:

All I can say is that I pray you remake this to work with dawntrail AST because I find it very unlikely anything could top this, phenomenal work!
The teleport effect is fecking amazing! Makes the normal teleport look piss-weak.

I don't know what words to use that are worthy of the hard work, talent, creativity, art and love you obviously put into this project. Holy shit is this incredible and I hope that you're not only proud of this work but that it gets you to and exceeds any goals you put for yourself. (Also I was sold from the start with the genshin theme. I don't play the game much but I'm a sucker for anything raiden shogun esque)

The look of a job plays such a huge role. I've never had ANY interest in the AST job, until now. And lore-wise.. this transcends any awkward vibes left behind by the Myths of the Realm raid series. Pfft, forget the Twelve, just go full COSMIC. It actually sets up the perfect direction for the job going forward... Cuz astromancy is all about dem stars, and SPACE. Thank you so much for making this happen.. It's breathtakingly awesome.

Came to update for dawntrail, your astro floating idle for this mod breaks all of pictomancer animations
Interesting. I notice that it affects casting animations for some reason, but there are no connections between them. I also checked this issue in pap editor and there floating and picto cast works fine together so I'm not sure if it is caused by modpack or by penumbra. I'll test it more after DRG update.

This is so sick man, I'm down bad for cosmic themed skill mods like this and I wanna play AST purely because of this mod. Bad part is I'm also a DPS main in literally every MMO so I can't get myself to do it lol
If you're thinking about doing any mods for Samurai like Acheron or Raiden from Honkai Universe will definitely be one of the first ones to try out

Jesus Christ!!! This is so good! Immediate - /immediate/ - download. And my RP brain is already racing! I'm already like halfway through a job quest storyline in my head by the end of the video. And ofcourse, it definitely involves the Metia accessing dead stars and black holes beyond our normal reach.

Really nice. Love the effects, but kinda wish there were a way to disable the ringing sound effect on offensive casts while still keeping the vfx ;w;
Absolutely love it! One issue is the VFX for the TP/Return because pvp is pretty much impossible as they share the same VFX. Other than that this fantastic keep the up the great work!
Edit: This is only true if you use the full version of it, if you use the light one its perfectly fine.

It might work if you use it via textools, but if you use it via penumbra then you need to wait till the plugin goes full up since at the moment it can't read custom animation and I wait for exactly that update)

i’ve loved your mods so much ever since your primal war!! the animations are genuinely so *chef’s kiss* that it feels illegal to be getting them for free, and this time is no exception ;-;
would you ever consider adding a modular installation for your mod packs, or at least a way to disable screenshot and the yotsuyu breath out sfx when you play a card? especially for the latter - i want to use this mod on male charas too but that one part surprises me slightly everytime i hear it. tysm regardless!! happy holidays
I'll consider light and heavy VFX versions for later projects, bcs most of my stuff is overbearing.

If you ever do SAM you should make a skill inspired by judgement slice from Virgil or if DRK you should make a skill inspired by clouds omnislash. Would be sick

tho i must say i hope you keep improving the mod, a few spells look a bit janky and i am worried they will clutter up the screen if someone tries to raid with this, I look forward to your work :D
it's already finished. I'll get back to it only in 7.0. A lot of stuff was diminished for raids already. It was much flashier before
This is a piece of Art, I really really like it even if I never played AST before, the sad part is that I saw on the preview that even the buff icons are modified which I don't like, I don't mind the skill icons being changed but not the buffs, I wonder if there's an option to keep the original ones

i know you dont do requests...but im just throwing out there into the universe that MAYBE youll eventually work on a Primal BRD. i love Archery...but im not overly fond of the music side of it. when i first started playing 14 ages ago, i was hoping for a Ranger (FF11) style archer..but instead they made Bard the archer...was kinda weird to me, i mean i love it, but id love it so much more if it didnt have the music aspect to it.

would have been nice if this video showcase showed what the job gauge looks like w/ all the different cards, or at least what the indicator is for melee / ranged, the video never really paused w/ the gauge visible while both types of cards are drawn.
that's my only gripe, is being able to read melee / ranged at a glance on the job gauge. everything else looks amazing.

I love the effects in this mod and really like the redone class gauge! Is there any chance of having an option to change the constellation on the class gauge to show a simplified ranged or melee symbol similar to ast for dummies? I find the stars are a but hard to spot sometimes depending on the floor below.
You just need to remember that left is for melee, right is for ranged. There are also contelations on job gauge that appear on left and right side too.

After watching this and your RDM one, I really wanna see your take on PLD ASAP.
But at the same time, the longer you take to get to PLD, the more you improve even further and learn new tricks, which means if you do PLD last it could be your best work..... Hmmmm....

Out of curiousity, would you be amenable to splitting off the role effects? I really like the way lucid dreaming and swift cast and the like for your mods look >.>
you can toggle what you need. You can use only role spells if you want and disable everything else
