I didn’t realize Jk will rebuild another company’s boots. I have two pairs of JK’s now and I can’t wear anything else. Love JK. The black contrast looks good. Surprised I like the contrast

I think the brown smooth out Kiltie looks the best. And a good contrast with the rough out vamp. Btw if you measure inside the boot the shaft height should be 8”

Boot height is measured from the top of the outsole, not the floor. So, those boots are still 8" boots. The extra 1.5" is the height of the heel.

I wanted to go with roughout, and I really couldn't justify the price difference. I like the bison leather and all, but to be honest, it never was my favorite. The redwood is awesome.
