I have a MacBook, digitech Rp1000, guitar rig 5 and a Cannon T2i so I think I have everything I need to make it happen, just don't know how. Old school I guess. Right on man... Keep the metal alive. Back in the day I just started to buy records and ditched the cassette thing. I literally broke every Judas Priest cassette I owned and decided if i wanted more gear and nicer guitars I had to quit buying cassettes over and over. Unfortunately a house fire destroyed my entire collection of everything.

Hey man, what's the best way to learn sweep picking? I can play the whole solo except for the last part with the sweeping :(
+Damon Renes the best way to learn sweep picking is to practice it hours and hours in slow tempo. Seriously. It's kinda simply but it works. It looks like: I can't, I can't...*POW* I can. You need to practice sweep hard if you want to be able to play it

My arm feels like it's about to fall off after a minute lol any tips on speeding up alternate picking (sorry if that's not what it's called)
Anthrax2471 the one tip I can tell you is try not to tense up, If you tense up you'll get slower and tired easily. the key is to keep keep your arm and wrist relaxed. Oh and practicing.
