How did you get the turn signal pulse to the drl?

Single yellow wire from the light assembly tied into the hot wire of the turn signal

I was wondering if you can recommend the same unit but from an American made company or Japanese company? I want a well made unit. Are toying to post an install video? I wonder how difficult the installation will be .Thank you for the information.

I'm curious why you keep buying them if you don't like the quality made in China so much?

Heya xboxer! I'm installing foglights right now and I wanted to ask two things!
    1) Do you have any resources for locating a place to tap into the ignition either in the fuse panel or elsewhere? I prefer not to use one of those 3m wire tap clips
    2) Do you have any hints for a good place to bring a wire from engine bay into the interior cabin? Usually there's a rubber grommet somewhere that I pierce or shove things through, but having a hard time finding it with the Fit!

bluewker 1. Sorry I do not have any information on that but you can likely find it on fitfreak.net.
      2. There are two large rubber grommets on each side of the firewall to which you can cut a small slit and push wires through. I've used both of them for the heated mirrors stereo system and the brake controller for my trailer.

xboxer1985 thank you! I found one by looking into the footwell. Ended up passing my power line thru there.
Thank you so much. I watched your drl videos and wow they look like a pain to deal w. Can't believe you had to replace parts right out of the box. Good thing you figured it out quickly.

bluewker thanksks. Yeah im an electronics power user. I know enough to diagnose and fix some stuff, but not always educated at first on more complex stuff. Thats what i make videos on, the discovery and learning from my mistakes!
