Well this was a little different. Hope you enjoyed. It was like a half-scripted video, half real-time? I enjoyed it, a different edit to usual but really fun to do and with a nice result. Also the Wood Elves are silly fun to play.

You know I thought the star wars lore nerds were bad, but it turns out the LOTR ones are much worse. At least the Star Wars nerds were right about ship names, the LOTR nerds this time around are just wrong. The joke at 2:48 is about Isengard. It's a joke about how this is a poor man's Isengard. Instead of Ents attacking the place, it's small dryads (wooden people) climbing wooden ladders. Like two midgets in a trench coat pretending to be a man. It wouldn't make any sense to joke about Helm's Deep there. Just because it's a siege doesn't mean I'm referencing Helm's Deep. Please, for the love of god, so I don't have to respond to every dumb comment, just read this one first. I'm not referencing the wrong battle, you just don't get the joke.

@@semillakan6 yea it really sucks, same in Warband, like Archers and melee are useless, cavalry rules the battlefield in that game, I remember I had like 300 heavy cav and 200 skirmishers vs 2000 Nords. Absolutely crushed them in like 3 cycle charges.
You start with 419 soldiers, but your commander is two people. Rimmy, you did hit the Funny Number and didn't even realize.

I actually kinda like what they did with 40k zoats since then. Hivefleet Colossus (aka where Zoats were recorded) actually hit the Imperium during M31 and the Zoats were less envoys as they were trying to warn them of what was coming out of the galaxy. Sadly Colossus itself was still mostly vanguard organisms as well (this coincidentally is also used to explain why the Imperium knew of Genestealers prior to the events of the Damocles Crusade and first contact with Behemoth) but as the Imperium did what it usually did in the Great Crusades, they just wound up screwing over Colossus and the Zoats in tandem. One at least managed to survive for a BSF cameo and lore expansion at least.
The Elve-Human Union? Abbadon the banisher? Spire the Warmaster? The Machine Emperior of mankind?
Those were a thing before the forty-first millennium, I think.

This was definitely my favorite rimmy video he's ever made.
I once had a siege where I was defending against only cavalry. They had a ram and towers, but no one was in them. I slowly killed the cavalry that were slowly killing my door with archers. When they eventually bust down the door they had only two groups left and my melee was waiting behind the door. It was easy.

I also love the Woodelves rework.
I finished a Durthu Campaign just in time before the Rework and if they didn't reworked it I would've never came back to them but no I already finished a Sisters of Twilight Campaign, I am already on my Drycha Campaign and I am planning to do another Durthu or Orion Campaign afterwards. Truly a great job CA.

Always had fun playing Wood Elves on the table. Like bringing your own forest, putting some scouts into it and casting spells on the forest to move it abound, basically committing a drive-by on the enemy line. Or your hero having a magical arrow that just rains hits on an enemy unit.
