I remember my best friend having an old VHS tape of Dennis Chambers playing some insane Single strokes. That's where I got my appreciation for that and him
"You don't want to be too infinite". So true.
Great lessons ! Your verbal and physical explanations are easy to absorb and then replicate - I'll be watching 👌
Thanks! Glad you found something useful here
Really great advice to limit the permutations/accents & not get carried away.
Man. The sound of the toms 👌
Thank you. They’re maple shells with clear heads
Single paradiddle
Wow! You gave me excellent exercises to work on! Thanks so much!!!
I’m glad you found it useful
You can come a long way with just single stroke rolls. Add accents and dynamics and they can be varied in a lot of very musical ways.
No doubt about it. The Single Stroke Roll needs to be used more creatively by most of us
I use the 5 Stroke Roll quite a lot.
Very good teacher
Thank you for that
また素晴らしいレッスン動画ありがとうございます😊普通に曲でも使えるフィルですね👍あなたは素晴らしいドラムマスターです!🎉
また会いに来てくれてありがとう。
Man, that's really great! I can't wait to get started with it tomorrow. Thank you!
No problem, I’ll keep making more
@@DrumTipTuesday You make more and I'll watch 'em and learn 'em (if I can, that is). Your skill level is far beyond mine. Very smooth.
Great lesson. thx !
Glad you found it useful.
This is cool.
Single, double, paradiddle and 6 stroke... Am i doing the right thing? 😊

I like that last one the most. Thanks for posting
I like that you’ve incorporated the 80/20 guy SNAP for edits!
This is hilarious. I love Nate’s videos but didn’t even realize that’s where I picked that up.
Single paradiddle. Single paradiddle diddle. 6 stroke roll.
Variation of the 6 stroke -paradiddle diddle, para para diddle
It's nice to go back and forth with those two in a single exercise to compare the impact of the stickings on drum set.
I like this one, thanks!
Thank you for checking it out
Flam tap

Flam
For sure a big fat Steve Gadd Flam is useful so often
Six Stroke roll.
Did you ever see Adam Tuminaro use this one. He gets a ton of mileage out of it in his lessons.
