@@drobgyn5615 Vegas pays a premium to get it shipped directly so it's pretty big money. Commercial fishing is a huge industry in Alaska so there's lots of opportunity. Another brilliant episode. Whether its a crap bendy burger at a Wimpys in London or caviar and beef Wellington in Vegas, these two make me smile and hungry at the same time. Great job every time.
We’ve lived in Vegas for 25 years. We have great friends who are sushi chefs. They told us that Vegas gets two shipments a day of fresh seafood because of the massive quantities that are purchased in the restaurants and casinos.
THe bridge is Pont des Arts, it's not an old tradition, only starting around 2008, the weight of the locks (45 tons!) almost caused the bridge to collapse so the pannels have all been replaced. Plus the tradition of throwing the keys into the Seine was causing environmental damage. Another great video btw.
Keep in mind it will be much louder and busier without the private room they're in, you can very much hear the noise of other people while they're dining and they're not even close to the other people.
The "love lock" bridge in Paris was the Pont des Arts. I say was because in 2015 dozens of tons of locks were cut off and disposed of because the bridge was overloaded and likely to be damaged. Since, glass panels prevent access to the ironwork so locks can no longer be attached there.
Was just in Vegas with my husband for our anniversary and ate (or at least had a drink) at each one of these places! Hells Kitchen was fabulous, it did not disappoint! 🇬🇧
“This is fantastic,” says Joe 57 times about Ramsay’s fish ’n’ … fries, and Harry is never going to be convinced. (If you’re not British, Harry’s extremely polite responses are coming across like furious disagreement about the level of ‘good’ of that place.)
@@Vanda-il9ul I was born in (and have nearly always lived in) the UK and Harry's responses went over my head a bit too. Sometime we don't get our own nuances
Las Vegas has among the best providers in the world due to their massive purchasing power. Bartelotti's Restaurant gets fresh fish everyday from Venice and other locations! Same goes for the Beef, from NY famous quality producers Pat LaFreida and so it goes for the rest needed by the hundreds of restaurants in town
Harry has no idea on how you make sticky toffee pudding, it’s not steamed it’s not a dough . It’s a cake mix with dates that are soaked in hot water and bicarbonate of soda then blended and added to the cake mix and baked , then a caramel cream sauce added on top .
The reason caviar is treated as a "fancy topping" or something like that is because its an egg from a very rare fish and a spoon of caviar costs around 40$, caviar ain't cheap, and that's why its seen as rich
The thing about Vegas sports bars is that it's mainly American sports (obviously). We've been to Vegas a few times, some of those trips coincided with major sports events like the Rugby World Cup and the Six Nations. Think we could watch any game in a sportsbook, sports bar, or anywhere near the strip? Nope. Not a chance. We had to find an Irish pub a bit off the strip to get a chance of watching games from some of the the biggest global sports events.
Food cart near me has extremely good fish and chips. They had mushy peas on the menu and they were mostly just kinda ok but last I knew they took them off the menu because nobody liked them lmao
You know it's funny people get mad when others use ketchup on steak, but steak sauce and ketchup have most of the same ingredients so it's just a little sweeter steak sauce
Harry's impression of Gordon was ON POINT!😊
I'm always worried whenever a season ends that it'll be the last, so I'm overjoyed to see more Joe-Harry action! 🎉
NGL, Harry's Gordon impression was legit!
"Why'd the chicken cross the road?"
"Why chef?"
"Coz u didn't FOOKIN' cook it!" 😂😂😂
💀
That was spot on
You're telling me that WASN'T him? That was great 😂
🤯🤯🤣🤣
The sexual chemistry between Harry and Joe is undeniable! I'm not surprised they shared sausages...who do they think they're kidding? 🤣😆
I love the rapport these two have developed after several episodes of showing each other around. Much more enjoyable than the separate vs videos
Would love to see Harry take Joe outside London. Go to Scotland and let Joe try Scottish cuisine, Then Yorkshire, Wales, Midlands etc
Have a chicken parmo in boro
Lots of lovely sea food places hear, one of the best I've ever had was "The Boathouse" in Millport
As an Alaskan, I can confirm that Vegas gets fish very quickly. They buy so much of it that it gets shipped straight from dock to the Vegas strip.
Is there good money in selling to Vegas? Also is it hard to get into that biz

16:19 Best part of the episode tbh. Harry’s Gordon Ramsay impression was spot-on 🤣🤣🤣
He was not impressed 😂😂 I don't blame him
I like how Harry went with the Fear And Loathing In Las Vegas shirt lol
Sticky toffee pudding has dates in the cake mix, that's what gives it the soft sticky consistency !!
W joe one of the best reviewers in general...just that friendly and elegant atmosphere he brings to the videos is so key
He needs Harry to ground him, provide actual information and descriptions. Wouldn’t work on his own
He's friendly and personable, but just enough snarkiness to make him edgy and interesting
Joe is lame AF
I love that Joe, asking a Brit “is it to early for a beer” and true to form Harry replies “never to early” 😊

If I brit visits vegas there pissed before the seat belt sign goes off, until they arrive back at Heathrow!

Harry and Joe do a food tour of every major American and European city- sounds good to me these guys are the reason I sub and watch Insider Food

Joe being an LVP fan is a pleasant surprise, and he even quotes one of her iconic BHOBH taglines. Didn't see that coming.😅
i’ve been waiting for this!!! please make more of these videos, they are such a comfort to me
The crew is eatin good with this one 🤤
Right please get these two boys up to Glasgow and the west of Scotland so i can take them for a real chippy and proper food!
Vegas is pretty much one of the few places inland where I would eat ocean fish (at a good restaurant). It's all flown in fresh.
The fish and chip shop reminds me of Terry Pratchett's CMOT Dibbler.
Oh my goodness Harry , the Gordon impression, about the chicken crossing the road was hilarious 🤣 .. I almost fell of my bed lol

Defiantly? Americans.
There's two of them tho? 😅

You could do a London version where you visit all the Ramsay Restaurants: e.g. Street Pizza, Burger, Bread street

When I went to the Pont des Arts, the very first padlock I saw said “[my name], forever alone”. Paris had its claws out that day.
So where is the public now locking their locks n keys to if that's closed
