The moment Din and Grogu reunited melted my heart.
He immediately went from mindset Bounty Hunter to mindset Most Caring Dad Ever in a split second.
Love them so much.
Grogu is older then Mando so the dad thing doesn't work. More best friends.

Luke said in canon that Ben was his first student. Not Grogu. So it was predictable.

Yeah, there was absolutely nothing about Grogu as a character that suggested he wanted to go back to the Jedi ways. He was traumatized, afraid, and repressing memories. He feels safe and happy with Mando and that's everything to him. I'm also glad he chose the armor because having him be Yoda 2.0 was the most uninteresting choice.
Those droids are Scorpeneks. The big brothers of the Droidekas.
They could wipe out entire batallions of clones during the war.

Wow this one hour finale was amazing! 🤩 And i love the Reaction
What I'd like to see next is Season 3 of the Madalorian, where Mando stays on Tatooine to start training Grogu the Mandalorian Code, before Mando and Grogu head off to Mandalore to search for the river that can absolve Mando for removing his helmet, fighting off The Empire/First Order while there, ending in being restored as a Mandalorian as the finale. Season 4 would see them again visiting Luke to resume the Jedi training, who'd refuse, before returning to Tatooine and resuming Grogu's Mandalorian training, assisted by Boba teaching them both the Tusken ways. Grogu would then disappear, being found later having being drawn by the Force to the Lars homestead to meet the recently arrived Rey Skywalker, who'd teach Grogu the Gery Jedi code alongside Mando & Boba's training.
This episode is one of the best we have ever watched:
Boba rides the Rancor.
Boba Fett counter strike with Cad Bane.
Boba and Mandalorian fought side-by-side as trusted allies.
Grogu concentrated to calm the Rancor then sleep next to it.
All of them are too exciting to finish, I really want to watch them again.
One thing to remember about Grogu. Just because Luke isn't going to train Grogu doesn't mean that Grogu can't learn to use the force. Grogu just won't learn the Jedi ways. Being with Mando means that Grogu can learn to be a Mandalorian and as Grogu learns more about using the Force, in his own way, it could make him even more of a miniature bad*ss. Remember that just because Grogu isn't being trained by Luke doesn't mean that he can't use the force or learn how to use it in other ways. Just look at Ahsoka. Sure she had more training but she's no Jedi. She walked away from her training and the Jedi Order. You don't have to be Jedi or Sith to be able to use the Force. I don't remember where I heard it but I remember hearing that there were people who have trained with the Jedi from a very young age to learn how to use the Force but instead of taking the trials (test) at the end of their training, they decide to go off on their own and live life the way they choose to instead of becoming a Jedi knight.
The Rancor, totally destroying the Scorpenek Annihilator Droids, proves that, no matter how superior, a mechanical beast _can_ be no match for a creature of flesh and blood 😤.
If I'm not mistaken the next series of Star wars is "Obi-Wan Kenobi". I hope it's amazing, yesterday they revealed the poster and the premiere date (the series premieres on May 25)

I’m kinda sad too that Grogu picked the armor. Thought the whole big moment of season 2’s ending was that Grogu and Din were parting ways for quite a long time.
Can't have Mandalorian without Grogu.

I think I've figured it out: Boba Fett is going to let a rebuilt Cobb Vanth take his armor and ACT as him in public. Remember: Both he and Boba Fett BOTH took right shoulder wounds. A cybernetic arm could be explained for BOTH characters, or Vanth in Boba Fetts armor on the street. Younger, fast and every inch as cool in the armor.

How do you earn the respect of an entire planet? By tag teaming with a Mandalorian to kill over 20 Pykes while tanking blaster fire, RIDING A RANCOR INTO BATTLE, killing the deadliest bounty hunter in the Galaxy with the weapon you made with your Tusken family, and saving the entire planet from the Pyke Syndicate. If that doesn’t get everyone on Tatooine to bow out of pure respect nothing will. I still kinda wish that Cad Bane survived because we just got him in live action FINALLY! But I’m glad it was Boba that killed him, since he was originally supposed to kill him in Clone Wars anyway.
Also while I kinda wish that Grogu stayed with Luke and became a true Jedi I’m still glad he went back to Din. And I freaking loved that he fell asleep next to the Rancor like a toddler with a Labrador.😭🤣

As for me, I feel kinda conflicted about this series and this finale. It was kind of a rollercoaster, with a lot of highs, but also a lot of lows, and this finale, while very fun and enjoyable, kinda made everybody look pretty dumb when it comes to basic strategy. I guess it comes down more to Robert Rodriguez having never opened a book about warfare strategy rather than the characters themselves (we've already seen Mando leading organized groups to combat, like the Free Town and Tuskens vs the Crayt dragon, for example, so it was kinda weird to see him doing none of that here).
A lot of "so close, yet so far" moments in the series just prevented me to fully appreciate it.
But hey, at least, there's one thing it would have brought us all that I'm grateful about : Your (and a lot of other great channels) lovely reactions !
I enjoyed every single one of your reactions to this series, and it's always a pleasure watching you react to Star Wars content, or other great series (your reactions to Arcane were particularly emotional).
Next, you should try Dune, you'd see where 70% of the inspiration of Star Wars is coming from. And it's one of the absolute jawdroppers of 2021 !

After this, I wonder if the Darksaber is going to have a twin, since it is like a katana, if Din and Grogu will make a wakizashi (short sword) 🤔😉🤞🙏👍. (And what color it will be, and whether or not it will have a Mandalorian color theme 🤔.) Anyone else agree 😉?
Maybe Din and Grogu will find a Kyber crystal (a lightsaber crystal) in the Living Waters beneath the Mines of Mandalore, and make that a twin to the Darksaber 🤔😉.

Dave sure knows how to payoff everything that he has set up. Ok so first if there's 1 thing I've learned over the years "it's unwise to upset a Wookie" . I had to catch myself saying "DON'T YOU KILL THAT ________" At numerous points throughout this episode because HO BOY they did A LOT. From BK doing the Wookie being bsdass. To the unexpected teamwork. To the massive respect between Din and Boba. To R2 basically just strolling into Peli's shop like he owns the place(bummed there was no bit where Peli is like "R5 what do you mean you know him?") There is little bad I can say about this episode, or this season as a whole. Where else are you gonna get a Rancor rodeo, Yoda's species taming then napping by a rancor, TTFFB(Thank the Force for Beskar), uber Droidikas, and the end of Bane....who died as he lived........LIKE A BOSS(another missed opportunity to inter cut that fight with the unfinished CW arc where Boba gets the dent, but props to that call back to Boba and Koska Reeve in Mandalorian season 2). I hope we see more from this crew because DANK FERRIK it's just wizard
Luke also choose to leave Yoda in Empire Strikes Back to help Solo and Leia. Luke then returned to complete his training. Grogu will do the same and is likely being returned to Luke. That’s why at the end Grogu and Mando are flying in the ship. Even though Grogu chose the armour he will still complete his training and become a Jedi. Well that’s what I think 🤣

There are still other people who could train Grogu. Maybe it will end up being Ezra who trains Grogu, but he joins Mando as a team and also trains Mando to use the Darksaber like he helped train Sabine to use it. I think Grogu would be better off training as a Jensaarai (they are kinda in the middle between Jedi and Sith, plus they wear armour).
Magy, you are really proof that it is best to wait until the end to write a comment. I was about to write that Disney still has the opportunity to have Cad Bane in other points of time but then you said something similar and I though "Well, never mind". I don't know how much you remember from the movies (and maybe have heard) or can deduct from them, but Grogu leaving Luke might not have been the worst decision. Sad this is over but I am excited to see what you are reacting to next (you also can ask for suggestions or take a poll).

Magy I love how much you knowledge of Star War's has grown 🤣👊👍 I liked this series 💚🎯 and final Hopefully a season 2 I'd watch it, Boba and Din back to back fighting gangs and Old Republic Droid's! Grogu Return's with Force power's, Boba Fett riding a Rancor into Battle!!! Darksaber made a cameo! And Boba Fett vs Cad Bane rematch since Clone War's! If anyone was to put him down I'm glad it was Boba and with he's Gaffi Stick 👏 and Cob Vanth is Alive. 9/10 For Me
It's a shame we have to wait until May for the Obi-Wan series. G=I love seeing that you enjoy the show, and Star Wars as a whole. I expect we'll see Mando use the darksaber more in season 3. If you noticed, the first time he was struggling with the saber against the shield with the first droid, but once he had Grogu with him, he was able to wield that saber much better. Leads me to believe his mind is more focused now and he'll keep improving.
Some bad news ...We have till wait till 3 days after christmas for a new episode of the Mandelorian
Don't get discouraged, Magy. There is still a chance that Grogu will return for Jedi training with Luke, because during Star Wars, Episode 5, Luke left Yoda during the early phase of his training to help save his friends. So, I'm sure Luke will understand the loyalty that Grogu had to honor by helping to save Mando.
And on 25 may, Obi-Wan Kenobi TV series will officially begin 🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉
After this in 2022 there will be the TV series of Andor (Rogue One character) and the third season of The Mandalorian (most likely at Christmas) 🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥

Fan theory...There has only been one Jedi Mandalorian in the Star Wars lore. I think Grogu will be the second.
Frankly I don't understand what's Luke supposed to be thinking here. The Jedi sought out Force sensitives to take into training because when left to develop their powers on their own, there's a great danger it'll corrupt them. Grogu going off with a Mandalorian is like the worst option, send him to learn to use the Force on his own to combat.
Oh well, I'm no Jedi master. Maybe he could see that Din's creed and character will keep Grogu on the Light side as well his Jedi training could, and/or maybe he knows something about Grogu's species, like we know they're especially Force sensitive, maybe they're also more tied to the Light side, like some species are more tied to the Dark.
Since you liked Cobb Vanth, I think you would enjoy the series Justified.

I LOVED this episode, it was my favorite. I was thinking that all of the Mod gang was going to die, but the main ones didn't, so I am happy. I am very happy that the girl with the red droid arm made it through to the end of the episode and most of the Mods.

Boba riding a rancor is no big deal for him. In a previous chapter, he mentioned riding “bigger” things, referring to his very first appearance in 1978’s Star Wars Holiday Special:

something that never crossed my mind, what if during grogu's flashback we see a hooded figure, blue light saber, and they show anakin and he's just slaughtering jedi left and right and not just the clones, and you hear the screams/yells of anakin nooooooo, How would yall have felt about that?
also we never got an answer to how that one kid in revenge of the sith survived and just popped up outta nowhere when organa showed up at the temple. He could be one of the few if not thee one who saved grogu.

I think R2D2 delivered Grogu instead of Luke because he may have been called by Han and Leia. Figure Leia is about to give birth to who will be his first student. R2 did state that he was in a rush. Just a guess....oh...seeing your baby Grogu peeking out from behind your knee was too cute.
Where was Cad's rocket boots? He's bested two Jedi with lightsabers in close combat yet lost to a pointy stick? BS. Though his droid was absent so maybe Cad's got a shot at surviving. Also Grogu is older then Mando so the dad thing doesn't work. They're more best friends.
Grogu's chronologically older (time wise) than Din. But he's still physically and mentally (partially?) and emotionally (also partially?) a baby. So Grogu _is_ Din's adoptive son 🤨.
The action sequences are good Boba and Din using there jetpacks to ambush from above, Boba using the Rancor to take out the droids was cool. Overall I enjoyed the series 8/10 but it could have been better.good ideas poorly executed. Great reaction Magy.😃
Poorly executed like the unnecessary spinning before characters fire a blaster. Or that weird hip thrust Boba does to fire his knee rockets…. Weird moments that take away what we’re pretty great scenes.
Despite the weirdness I agree with the 8/10 rating, it does a lot of great, but it’s still hot head scratching moments.

I was wondering when you would grace us with your reaction. I don't know about others but I liked the series altogether. The finale was cool. And Boba Fetts change from just a killer, to becoming a better man, and thinking of other's before himself. And when Boba said "this does not suit us" and Fennec said "if not us then who?" Then they show Cob in the bacta tank.
i too noticed the setup for Cob running things afterwards, in exactly what you said also. It's not done by mistakes its by design so yeah... boba and co will be able to roam story wise and wont be tied to a certain location with a certain role. Makes sense.
@@moodswinggaming2972 do you think how Grogu calmed the Rancor, it's a set up for Grogu calming the Mythosaur for either him and the Mandolorian to ride or just one of the two? Or even Boba Fett to make more of the Legends Canon?
