After watching a few reactions I realized that there’s no way this show wasn’t good over all. They made us all care about Tusken raiders and Gamoreans.

@@user-xx6vy9ri8p How is it not? You can't get any closer to the setting of A New Hope thematically and setting wise, how is a story about Kenobi looking over Luke not acceptable to be set on Tatooine? Wtf? What else can they do with it? And it's not like it's all going to be set there anyway.
@@asneakychicken322 It would be if we didn't spend two shows on Tatooine. And I don't see reasons why Kenobi show should be made. We know his story, we know that he will live and Luke won't be found, and dialogue implies he and Vader didn't meet for 19 years. His duel with Maul is already in Rebels, improved duel with Vader is in SC38, there is Kenobi fanfilm about fighting imperials and Obi-Wan PTSD edit. There's nothing new they can tell. Grand Inqusitor was defeated by Kanan, he can't be a challenge for Kenobi.

They might have brought Cad back here just to introduce the character to people who haven't seen any of the animated series he's in. That way they can use him in Kenobi and/or Andor, both set before he died, and have him pre-hyped. After all, if he IS dead it's not like he was hit in a rocket pack by a blind man and knocked into a pit - dude calmly faced down a rancor and beat Boba Fett, losing only due to villain monologue. That's an EPIC death by Star Wars standards.
And judging from the beeping of the device that’s on his chest, I’m betting that he’s not dead yet.
I mean, the guy has to die at some point in his career, and it would've most likely been during a mission as is the case with most Bounty Hunters. One mistake or even just plain bad luck is all it takes for even the most talented Bounty Hunter to die. Fennec is an absolute badass, and she would've died at the hands of an absolute amateur if Boba hadn't found her. Same with Boba being almost killed by a blind man if the Tuskens hadn't found his body and saved him.
If Cad is still alive, then it's only because Boba intended for it to be that way, cause if Boba intended for Cad to die then he would've walked over to the body (off screen, on screen, doesn't matter) to make 100% sure he was dead. He may have zero experience and very little talent when it comes to being a Daimyo, but he's still an experienced and talented Bounty Hunter that preferred to bring his bounties in "cold". So he would know to make sure that the target is dead when he wants/needs them dead.
I'm not a defender of cad banes death at all (or at least of its setup, he definitely should have been introduced earlier) but even I have to agree with your points there
One detail I like is how the first Scorpenek droid diverted most of it’s shields to the front to protect it from the rancor, but left the rear weakened.

Given that the thing on Bane's chest started blinking after he was stabbed, I do not think he is dead. He has that whole life support thing built into his body. There are a few videos out there, one on Cobb rumored to possibly take over lead in Rangers of the new republic given that the buckle he has with the red and white markings are the same markings on the medallion offered to Cara Dune. Also, EckhartsLadder has a good video on those droids that were originally a concept for Attack of the Clones. Really enjoy your Star Wars reaction videos, can't wait to see them for other things like Kenobi.

Rancor jumps from rooftop to rooftop, gets pushed into a building that crumbles and Fett stays mounted. Takes several steps back because of flames and suddenly he can’t stay mounted.
The Rancor, totally destroying the Scorpenek Annihilator Droids, proves that, no matter how superior, a mechanical beast _can_ be no match for a creature of flesh and blood 😤.
Even with the naysayers out there giving this series a hard time, I can’t see why there are reasons to complain overall. I’m old enough to remember when all there was, were the novels after the original trilogy. People wanted more, but evidently more of the same. Change isn’t easy, or always welcome, because it doesn’t always play to what we expect, or in the case of Boba Fett, a LOT of fan speculation and comic/novel stories.
I really liked the series, and am looking forward to what else will come down the line. I may not like everything, but for those that will, I’m happy that they are enjoying the new stuff.

26:45 I think this is the best way to go actually, Cad Bane has had a long reign as the prime bounty hunter, and he was active and terrifying even when Boba himself was a small child. at this point in time Bane is getting old, and I think he would want to go out like this rather than withering away from old age.
The droids the Pykes used are Scorpenek Annihilator droids. They were developed by the CIS in the final months of the Clone Wars, but only around 100 were made because they were so expensive. They were built as to destroy armored vehicles and can withstand heavy artillery, just one of these can take on well over 10 AT-TEs on its own. These droids were then captured and studied by the Empire after the war.

Shields are like a one way mirror. The bigger the type, the harder it is to fight it. Obviously, you can walk inside some shields but you must remember, the galaxy is a big place full of innovative people. Someone probably realized that walk in shields are a big problem, so they made it so that it's difficult to get inside said shields, while also providing the battle droid with powerful legs to eliminate any enemies who make it inside.
I'll only touch on the ending stuff. Mos Espa/Boba Fett's Gotra and Free Town are now entwined. The Free Town peeps helped defend the city & Boba used his resources to heal their leader, Cobb. This will be the start of a nice alliance in future properties. A powerful partnership if you will, since the major players for each faction seem to be heavyweights in the tv canon.
Also, very nice to see the longer reaction segment... though I guess that's attributed to being the season finale here instead of a single episode in the middle of a season or something. It was a welcome change. I know you might not have a lot to say initially after a watch of an individual episode, but it's refreshing to see a decent length reflection on the subject. I'd like to get some more insight into your thoughts on the experience instead of just the reaction, which you do a pretty damn good job at overall.

Boba Fett vs Cad Bane, the Sequel (because this was the second time that they've fought each other) the first time ended in a draw (basically). This one? The victor: Boba Fett. One legend, defeated by another 😤.
TV Tropes says that, Bane may have gotten the last laugh, in calling Boba a killer, going down by the hand of his own student, and whatnot 🤷♂️. But, it also says, Boba killing Bane with a weapon that represents camaraderie, which basically means Boba was like, "take that final lesson and shove it" 😠😡 (uh, excuse me for the rude language 😅), because he meant it when he told Fennec that camaraderie and family has made him stronger 😉😎👍.

I love that Cad is dead, his story arc ended here full circle with Boba. Boba had to kill him b/c it releases him from being a clone of a Cad Bane type bounty hunter. Cad couldn't understand how Boba changed and it was wonderful how Boba ended his life using his Tusken training, not his bounty hunter training. BUT THE RED LIGHT WAS STILL FLASHING ON CAD BANE'S CHEST PLATE, which could have meant his heart was still beating. I don't care if he's really dead, but they're keeping their options open. Kudos to them saving Cobb Vanth, he's a character worth keeping.

Was really hoping that Bane would have ended the episode as a blue steaming pile of rancor pie behind Jabba's palace. Also, Boba will definitely be in Mando season 3, I hope they have Banes hat in his throne room on his wall.
He trained him since he was young ro be a bounty hunter then later on the ended up fighting each other and thats how Boba got the dent in his helmet and cad got serious head injury from it
Cad Bane has that blinking light they linger on, wasn't blinking before Boba put him down. I believe it's a homing beacon to his droid and ship. I think he'll be back.
According to TV Tropes, Scorpenek droids are _anti-tank_ droids 😰😱, think Destroyers but much larger and no rolling 🤔.

Dave sure knows how to payoff everything that he has set up. Ok so first if there's 1 thing I've learned over the years "it's unwise to upset a Wookie" . I had to catch myself saying "DON'T YOU KILL THAT ________" At numerous points throughout this episode because HO BOY they did A LOT. From BK doing the Wookie being bsdass. To the unexpected teamwork. To the massive respect between Din and Boba. To R2 basically just strolling into Peli's shop like he owns the place(bummed there was no bit where Peli is like "R5 what do you mean you know him?") There is little bad I can say about this episode, or this season as a whole. Where else are you gonna get a Rancor rodeo, Yoda's species taming then napping by a rancor, TTFFB(Thank the Force for Beskar), uber Droidikas, and the end of Bane....who died as he lived........LIKE A BOSS(another missed opportunity to inter cut that fight with the unfinished CW arc where Boba gets the dent, but props to that call back to Boba and Koska Reeve in Mandalorian season 2). I hope we see more from this crew because DANK FERRIK it's just wizard. Btw love the order 66 shirt

That's right! They have met. Cad Bane started mentoring Boba in season 4 of the Clone Wars animated series.
What I've noticed is they put subtle movements of characters or a little something a character says. That tells us something is gonna happen later in the season/episode.
Couple little examples
Chapter 12(s2ep4) The Siege. Mando and Grogu are sitting having a drink in the Razor Crest, Djin goes to take a drink and Grogu is trying to look up to see.
Chapter 16 The Rescue. When Mando & Cara are on the shuttle trying to get Dr.Pershing. The imperial pilot talks about Alderon and the first death Star. The one like destroys.
After Boba rescues Fennec and she says the biker gang destroying the Tuskens was highly unlikely.
When Djin was with the armourer. She talked about a prophecy of a mandalorian who will bring all mandalorian back together. The one who ride the mythosaur. Who was Boba in the holiday special.
With Cobb in the bacta tank. Boba mentioning that they aren't the people for the job. And Fennec mentioning who else would do it. Cobb could and is the right man.
Does Boba reunite the Mandalorians.

I wish they would have tied the Pykes to Crimson Dawn, which would have been a good reason for Boba and Luke to work together in the future. And could have set up for some backstory in the Kenobi series as well.
Wonder if Peli Motto (Amy Sedaris) was using a blaster shotgun like Michael Biehn's character had? If you watch Biehn's character shoot his, it splits the beam and spreads... like a shotgun. Which are a weapon for smugglers in SWTOR.
Side note, this episode really enhances my reread of "Courtship of Princess Leia." Can picture the Rancors a bit better. :)
In the EU, the droid the Pykes used was created by the Colicoids, who also made the droideka/destroyer droid.

Important question: Where do Duros keep their hearts? Because if their internal anatomy is different (like how Vulcans in Star Trek have their hearts where human livers would be), then that stab to the chest Boba gave Cad Bane wasn't lethal.
Regarding Rebels characters: they've cast Natasha Liu Bordizzo as Sabine in the Ahsoka series.

I'm glad you like this episode from beginning to end I know you had your doubts you had to say what you had to say but still it was a good final episode for the book of Boba Fett but just to remind you Star wars Obi-Wan Kenobi comes out May 25th this year in case you did not know just wanted to give you a heads up but this episode was good okay for you soon until then stay safe

Don’t remember if you saw it, I’m sure you have to know about it, but one of the cancelled Clone Wars arcs was a big bounty hunter team up. Boba was working with Bane and then turned against him and they faced off. There’s two story reel clips from the arc, including the face off.

They had to scrap episodes 4 and 5 because Robrt Rodriguez was messing up on the production. So they pulled in some mando season 3 episodes and rewrote part of episode 7 to fit the change in the narrative to salvage the show.

Hey Gazelle, I'm new, just joined an just wanted to say hi, okay, this was epic, loving this show alot. Been a fan of Boba since Star Wars first came out. I was 26 year's old 😎 been hooked every since!! So a lot of people think Bane is dead!!! I will bet my last nickel that he is still alive, or they will find a way to bring him back!! He was always ready for any thing, he made sure that he would always have an out of any situation, an I think this is no different!!! If you were paying attention the tech on he's chest was never on ( I mean the lights were not on) but after Boba stuck him the light on his left side started blinking ( the red one) never did before. Either something turned on to help keep him alive or it was a signal for someone to come an help him!!! Either way I don't think they would bring him to life an just kill him off, it was too quick an he's one of the best Villains ever to be in this saga, HE WILL BE BACK!! Anyway that's my two cents, great reaction, can't wait for the next one 😎🍻
Boba Fett's finale is a nightmare. I expected it to be bad, but for it to be so bad... It actually can be even worse than The Last Jedi, and I didn't think that was possible. Well, let's go in order.
Why did you decide to hide in an exploded cantina with three huge holes in the walls? What's stopping the Pikes from just throwing grenades in there and killing you? How will this help you protect the population of the city? How about suggesting the villagers take shelter in your castle for the duration of the fight, Boba? How about using Slave-1 and H-1 to shoot enemies from the air?
Two teenagers on colored mopeds, a Wookiee with a cannon, and two Gamorreans with knives make the perfect team to patrol the entire city. After all, they are all so inconspicuous, so armed and so fast, and there are so many of them, not a single fly will slip through ...
Luke Skywalker is such an irresponsible asshole that he 1) gave a baby who barely understands what is happening around him the choice of who he should be in life - a Mandalorian or a Jedi without the right to change his mind, 2) sent him alone to Tatooine, where he himself was almost killed a hundred times, where his uncle and aunt were burned, where his sister and father were slaves, and where a war of two mafia groups is currently taking place! And he didn't even know that Din was on Tatooine, and he didn't call him to meet him! Did he just order R2 to land at a random location and drop Grogu off?! And after all, what an insane luck that the first person who stumbled upon Grogu was the only person on the planet who knew him! (well, one of three). I didn't think it was possible to fuck up Luke even more than The Last Jedi, but Disney was able to do it without even including Luke in the episode!
Why didn't Cad Bane and the Pykes shoot Boba, Fennec and Din right after Boba announced there would be no negotiations? Why does Boba lose his temper at the mention of Tusken death? Let me remind you, they captured him, dragged him across the sand on a rope, beat him for fun, enslaved him, treated him worse than a dog until he saved one of them? Why does BOBA FETT say he despises merciless killers? Are you aware that he worked for Darth Vader? Wasn’t he present and chill during the torture of Han Solo, him being freezing alive and feeding people to monsters? He even liked to shoot the Jedi from the ship cannons as a child!
Where did Boba and Din fly from? What prevented them from doing this without sending the major house to negotiations? Why did they land instead of continuing to bombard the Pikes from the air or just fly away? How did the Freetown fighters find them? Why can Pykes hit flying targets but can't hit a huge black Wookiee more than once (except for his shoulder pads)?
Why didn't the droidekas destroy the speeder right away? Why can't they hit the CROWD in the narrow alley? Why does everyone keep firing at their shields when they see it's useless?! Why would a one-armed girl trade a pistol for a rifle when it didn’t change anything?
Why don't droidekas shoot rancor? Are you saying that their cannons can destroy an armored speeder, but they can't seriously injure a rancor? And at the same time, such a monster is afraid of flamethrowers?
Why did Peli Moto (lady mechanic) go with a baby to a city where there is a shootout? How did she find Din?
How did Din just go through the shield at the exact same moment that the rancor was pushing against the shield with his power and couldn't do it?!!! Why didn’t he cut off the second machine gun, but began to stab between them? Why didn't he cut off his legs when he fell? Why is the droideka trying to crush him instead of shooting him? Why is no one following Grogu? When did Grogu become so strong that he could break a giant robot with the Force?
Boba was able to stay on the rancor while it was jumping over rooftops and fighting droidekas, but fell off when the rancor turned away from the flamethrower? Sure...
Cad Bane shoots much faster than Boba but can't dodge the stick? By the way, how was Boba able to knock him down and pull out his stick when Cad Bane was literally standing on top of him? It's a shame that such a badass character died in such a terrible show...
Why is everyone shooting at the rancor? Didn't everyone see that he was on their side and that the lasers weren't hurting him? How does Din survive when he is smashed through the walls and rancor literally jumps on him?! How did Grogu learn to put animals to sleep with the Force, and such big ones? Luke didn't teach him that...
How did Fennec find the mayor and the mob bosses' hideout? How did she shoot them through the roof so accurately? How did she teleport behind the main pyke?
Why does everyone in the city love and respect Boba when he destroyed a bunch of houses with his rancor and it was because of him that a battle took place here and people died?
Cob Venth was wounded in the shoulder and is being treated in a bacta vessel. What was that red-haired punk going to do with his lighter...ah, I don't care.
The mechanic lady and majordomo are now officially the most annoying Star Wars characters, worse than Rose Tico and L3-37. Jar Jar Binks was nowhere near them.
Congratulations Robert Rodriguez, you made the worst Star Wars TV episode ever. Yes, worse than the Holiday Special. I haven't seen the Resistance, Ewoks, Droids, Forces of Destiny, or Lego Star Wars, but I don't think it's worth comparing children's cartoons to a big-budget gaming series about one of the cult heroes of the saga.
Season summary: We were promised a story about how Boba Fett would build his criminal empire, something similar to The Godfather, but out of 7 episodes, 4 were spent on Tusken flashbacks, which did not affect anything in the end, 2 were about the Mandalorian and Grogu, and 1 was the most miserable battle in history. Great job, Disney. The Mandalorian was bad, Boba Fett was terrible, and now you've got poor Obi-Wan... LEAVE STAR WARS ALONE! Anyway, thank you all for reading.
Wonder if there's any surviving Aqualish, Trandoshans, or Klatooinians 🤔, and whether or not Boba would be willing to show mercy to them 🤔?
this shield is like the Droideka shields in the prequels... its not like the big area covering by the Naboo natives used shield..

I hope that his book isn't finished yet, because there's a lot of plot points or future ones, that have yet to be touched upon 🤔. Like the water monger, Lortha Peele, the fact that the Pykes were the ones who killed Boba's Tusken family, and the little known fact (now touched upon)that, Tatooine wasn't always the desert planet it is today, and even though it is, it still has ice caps on its polar regions that no one has even visited 🤔.
I think eventually Ashoka will eventually train Grogu taking up the Jedi mantle again it also keeps him out of the Skywalker timeline continuity.

Boba Fett talks about being smarter than any of his former bosses and keeping conflict to a minimum to avoid unnecessary killing of his kind (bounty hunters). Places Krrsantan in the middle of the Trandosian district after he watched him kill several in the bar.... Wonders why the Trandosians betrayed their agreement. waaa waaa.
Are they still going to make that Rangers of the New Republic series? If so, maybe Cobb Vanth will be part of that.

something that never crossed my mind, what if during grogu's flashback they showed a hooded figure, blue light saber, it's anakin slaughtering the jedi, we get more lightsaber combat not just the clones blasting. How would yall have felt about that? the countless jedi's yelling bc we hear someone yell in anakin no in a force vision they could flesh that out.
I think we're going to get a Jedi Temple flashback in Kenobi. (As well as that hinted rematch between Vader and Obi-Wan which has me both excited and worried).
I don’t think Grogu going to be in that much danger I think he got more training with Luke so he will be able to defend himself and get Din out of trouble
Grogu has more training than luke even ahsoka said he trained under several masters he just has to unblock that training and remember

About what you said near the end regarding the Obi-Wan Kenobi series: PREACH! I do not want to see a trailer, and like you didn't even need to know Hayden Christensen was in it. Obviously I'm excited about that but honestly kind of like Hulk in Thor: Ragnarok or even Luke in Mandalorian S2 I think it would be so much more fun if it was a complete surprise. If you tell me Obi-Wan series with Ewan, I'm there lol don't tell me anything else. Looking forward to seeing that with you!

I got some enjoyment out of this series despite how incredibly messy the writing was. Floored by how everyone seems to think Cad Bane is dead - it's the Hawkeye Kingpin outrage all over again. Overall, Boba deserved better, I mean they had a year to give us a deep dive into Boba's past adventures, relationships, motivations etc. Instead they made fear-based decisions (shoehorning the more popular characters in and shafting the main character for 2 whole episodes) that water down the overall experience.

Sorry. The plot armor was too strong in this finale and there were so many ridiculous events... The Rancor was dumb, Boba had zero bonding time to make this believable. Slave 1 would have been a better choice. There were times they tried to make Mando and Boba looked pinned down, but they had jet packs and could have flew away at any time. So the Freetown civilians were completely unnecessary. Also the tank droids were useless they couldn't even hit the freetown folks and they were running in a straight line. As great as Ep 5 & 6 were, this was dropping the birthday cake to the ground, or to use football... fumbling the ball at the 1 yard line. The emasculated Boba and that is not forgivable. 5/10
Cad Bane deserved more than the most cliched death possible. Just kill Fett. No need to stand over him. No need to blab on and on about how he's gonna kill him. Just do it. So many things wrong with this series. Had they just given us 3-4 full episodes of sequential backstory of what happened to Boba since RotJ, his reputation could have stayed intact... and he'd still be a badass doing cameos in all of the other series coming up. Instead Fennec stole this show.
I think people misunderstand the series Its The Mandalorian... to expand his story they gave Boba fett a series to show how he will fit or fits into the Mandalorian show.
It shows that Boba Fett will have a base and they had to show how that came about.
Yes people love him but to keep anything going with what's has happened with Kennedy being so jealous and trying to sabotage Jon and Dave .
The Mandalorian needs to have a foundation to keep these very expensive episode going. The Book of Boba Fett was the perfect way to do this.
Now they can merge both characters and with Ashoka coming The Mandalorian should have a great base to run and get the money to run remember it is all about the money and time it takes to make.
Being a fan and expecting is very different than making it happen. Fans should just be grateful That Jon and Dave are trying to keep going after having one of there cast removed , what did they have already written for Cara and Fennec , maybe the Mods are a result of not having her fire power who knows.
It was such a weak finale, no emotions to back up all the action, the series should have been Bobba Vs Bane from begining to the end, putting the third season of mando in the middle felt like a very rushed move, they knew Bobba's story was bland and decided to put in three seasons worth of fan service to pretend it was a good show, a very cheap writing move.
This have to be the weakest writting in a star wars show so far.

To be fair, it’s not like “real” cursing was ever a thing in pre-Disney Star Wars. And I actually prefer it that way. Having characters in Star Wars use regular Earth curse words would ruin some of the mystique IMO
