@@blazinjedi2008 The filming was delayed because of the pandemic so when it started again he couldn't because of scheduling conflict. His character's name and his colleague Vivian's names are shown briefly as now working for CIA, so that gives a hint where they were planned have shown up.
I loved the call backs when they went to the original visitor's center. a little fun fact is the jeep they took from the visitor's center was the same jeep Hammond rode in in the original movie (you can tell by the number tag). Another little funny bit is they mention Owen being a former Navy SEAL...in Zero Dark Thirty, Pratt actually plays a Navy SEAL. That line Wu says about "to a canary, a cat is a monster, we're just used to being the cat" is probably my favorite line in the whole movie because it's so true and applies to so many scenarios irl. Another little neat thing is, if you notice the scars on the T rex's neck...its the same T rex from the original movie, those scars were given to it by the raptors at the end of the film, which is why she was staring down the raptor at the end of this, but both were a bit too tired and beat up to want to fight.

Incase you didn't realise btw that Trex is the original one from the first movie. That's why she has scars on her neck from the raptors.

I really like masarani as a character, he truly cared about the park goers, even asked if the animals looked happy. Ignorance led to his downfall.
this can also be seen as a captivity standpoint, high closed off walls, suppose to be fifth feet long when fully grown, you have to have acres upon acres of open terrain just to even compensate for the movements of such a creature. Prime example great whites dont last in captivity bc they are constantly moving, and would always hit the wall bc they're use to the vast openness of the ocean. Then cut to when owen asks about how indominus was raised, and the only positive relationship it ever had was a meat hook which literally just dropped it's food and then left.
That's tragic as fuck
But what i love about this movie is that for one time the creature you confront isn't a animal
it is a monster, but not a fantastic one like The thing or the beat of Frankenstein but a genetical monster in a sense that the DNA of Raptor T Rex tree frog and othe rDNA shoud have never been in 1 massive predator, science create real monsters I think this is the moral
Science when not limited by ethics can create monster which have no belonging to our World
Because where do you make the indominus stand in the predator/prey chain nowhere, we all know that us humans are at the top but when you create a species that have mixed DNA where should you make it stand?
Saw this with my dad a week after it came out and it blew me away! Loved it very much! 8/10!

You gotta love this movie. Yes for the obvious reasons, the action, the dinosaurs, Chris Pratt being a badass. But what I loved about it was the need for making dinos bigger because people would want that. Which leads to the events of the movie

I mean when the chaos of your movie HAVE to start BECAUSE of a chain of stupidity and retards actions of you protagonists, then your movie is dead at this right moment.
The worst bit about the 'Raptors betrayed him' bit, and then the humans vs raptors, is did they really? They looked back at him sure, but that could also have been 'asking' for instructions not threatening the humans, they can't ASK in words after all. It could be argued that these unknown soldiers acting aggressive to them and to Owen was what triggered them to attack.

Chris Pratt and Bryce Dallas Howard killed it. The fight scene at the end was epic beyond what we've seen in any Jurassic movie. Keep up the reactions to this series, they're a hoot! It's like listening to someone yell at a poorly written horror movie: "No, don't go in the dark room by yourself!!"
Kudos to Bryce Dallas Howard (Ron Howard's daughter) for rocking those high heels while running around the last part of the movie.
I felt bad that Zara was killed for apparently no reason.
... One thing I've noticed is that they have a bad habit of using smaller caliber weapons against large dinosaurs. .30 caliber (7.92mm) is a very small round for creatures that big. Elephant hunters (for example) use .600 Express ultra high velocity cartridges. An SF writer composed a very nice short story a long time go discussing this issue named A Gun For Dinosaur.
For something like any kind of _Rex_ I would start with .50 caliber machine guns, and perhaps Javelin missiles. Even with something as small as a Velociraptor a 30-.06 round should be the minimum. Enough nerd talk!
There are, believe it or not, two more movies after this one. We'll see Owen & Claire again.

Chris Pratt’s character is very smart and intelligent. He was putting car oil on his body. The indominus Rex cannot kill people who have oil in them
Welcome to the new world, hard to imagine a beautiful dinasour theme park that last for many years destroyed and closed in a single day. Indominus rex represent human's greedy and ambition, just like Claire said in the beginning, people wanted more, or "more teeth" as they put. And the idea of "bigger, faster, louder, better" eventually doom their park, ironic isn't it?

I mainly just feel bad for the girl watching the two kids. Like her death was a bit much and she wasn't even a bad guy. Because of this role, she landed a role in Supergirl though

The director of this movie also directed "Safety Not Guaranteed". You'd probably like that one a lot.
The Indominus Rex has thermal vision, and a wide opening jaw, due to Pit Viper DNA. She can also hide her heat signature due to tree frog DNA. And due to cuttlefish DNA, she can camouflage with effortless ease. And, if you pay attention to her jaws, you'll notice the teeth are exposed, due to Deinosuchus DNA. But, the cuttlefish DNA was added so she could withstand an accelerated growth rate, if she has one.
The T-Rex and Raptor team up still gives me goosebumps. We need Magy in a Jurassic World movie

The raptors hunting with Owen was the primary reason i watched this movie. It's one of the coolest scenes I've ever seen in any movie!

21:33 - 22:11 If you haven't read the original "Jurassic Park" novel by Michael Crichton, I highly recommend you do so. It's a fantastic read. That whole scene between Wu and Masrani is taken from a great scene from that novel surrounding a conversation between Wu and Hammond.
I was thinking of that chapter, "Version 4.4" one of my favorites in the book in fact. The second favorite is when the raptor kills Wu rather violently

I am going on 51 years old and the way that you bring this movie to life is amazing Because I've seen it when it 1st come out and it was like looking to a murky pond And you lifted it out of the pond and brought it to real life thank you for that

another thing that wasn't touched on was the indominus roar, with how big/loud they made it seem. I'm surprised the other dinos in the park wouldn't have reacted to hearing it. It would've been a nice touch if the dinos all around the park would've started to freak out lil by lil from when it broke out to the closer it got to the park. Dropping hints that rexy would've took note, and took exception to it's existence/presence. and not been about it, and we still would've had the scene when rexy shows up and is like this is my island.

Hey there. I watched a few of your reactions , and you're definitely one of the good ones. It's good to see someone appreciate the Jurassic Park and World movies, and react to the best and iconic parts.
Are you aware that there is an animated series on Netflix that is set in the movie timeline, specifically the Jurassic World movies? Its called Jurassic World: Camp Cretaceous. Its about a group of teens who travel to Jurassic World for a holiday, and they were there when things went bad, the events you just saw in this movie today. Stranded on Isla Nublar, these complete strangers must work together to survive. It starts just before the first Jurassic World, not long before the Indominus Rex escapes, and it ends after the beginning of the second movie. You will see completely new characters, dinosaurs and events, but you'll also see familiar dinosaurs and scenes from the movies. I've seen all 5 seasons (just finished last month) and I can tell you, its really good. Its funny, heart-warming, and has the same tension and scary parts you feel from the movies. Me and my wife give it 10 out of 10. Whether you react or just watch it on your own, I recommend it. So good.

If you're wondering why the I. Rex's teeth are exposed because of crocodile DNA. The reason why her claws are long is because of Therizinosaurus DNA.
Trivial note: the gun that Owen is carrying when they're at the Jeep in the old Jurassic Park Building is a Marlin model 1895 chambered in 45-70. I own one. I don't use it for this but it's considered a legitimate elephant gun. I use mine for Elk and moose. If you had the right ammunition and got perfect shot placement you may be able to slow that thing down enough to escape. Big Maybe. As far as the other guns in the movie including the minigun in the helicopter would have very little effect. Too light and too slow a bullet. You'd be better to turn that gun on yourself and save yourself the pain and being eaten.

The T.Rex and Blue Raptor team up has always been my favorite scene, the second is they fed the Indominus to the mighty Mosasaur.
When this was revealed I thought it was set in a alternate timeline in which Nedry got caught before his plans were set in motion, and the park became a success becoming Jurassic World years later.
Birds are the only surviving lineage of dinosaurs, so it’s not technically being tricked with that closeup shot of the bird’s foot. Birds are dinosaurs.

I'm sure the Spinosaurus would've had a real chance on it's own against the Indominus.
The Indominus-rex killed it's sibling bit of a give away that it can't be controlled it's too aggressive.
Unfortunately there is always someone looking to profit of anything and everything, using dinosaurs in combat would make a lot of money, particularly when Owen proved raptors could be tamed/trained.
