- In "The Legend of Zelda," Link mostly unlocks items and weapons you'd expect, but these are pretty weird. For this list, we'll be looking at the oddest unlockables seen throughout Nintendo's "The Legend of Zelda." Our list includes the Master Cycle Zero from “The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild” (2017), the Eyeball Frog from “The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time” (1998), the Kidnapped Child from “Zelda II: The Adventure of Link” (1988), and more! I even think the first sword you get in Zelda 1 is odd. Why does the guy just give it to you? Why does Link start with a shield but not a sword? Why not just start with a sword and shield as if you are already an adventurer?
Funny Joke, Oracle of Ages. Part of the trading quest to upgrade to a better sword, you have to give a joke maker in one time period a fake mustache, and he rewards you with the Funny Joke, which you then take to a depressed kid at a different time period.
Now how does Link, a chronically silent protagonist, tell a joke in a gameboy color game? Through a series of poses and *contortions* that must be seen to be believed.
The kid barely laughs, but rewards Link's efforts with the Touching Book, a (in-universe) heart wrenching story that the witch Maple was interested in, so be sure to give her the book next time you "bump into her".

Ooccoo is actually perfect if you need to stop playing in the middle of a dungeon. You teleport out and save. Then, when you reload the game, you can teleport back to the same room, instead of starting the dungeon from the entrance again.

I simply played Zelda since 1986 to find a golden poo. Hestu finally awarded me all I had been searching for for 38 years! How dare you say this was a bad unlockable! I can now die happy. lol
Salt is the best fuel for the bike that I found....because it's easy to come by and takes like 2 to fully charge it

Stink bag (full of poop) from Oracle of Ages
I am shook that you did not include the bag full of poop (the sink bag) you get from the hand inside the toilet in Oracle of Ages
Not exactly an item but the weirdest for me was the big fairy that spawns in the pond upriver from the bridge in OoT. Gotta play the song of storms to get it to appear. No wings, can't bottle it, restores all hearts and magic
Yeah you can get these to pop up in multiple places in OoT. If you see Navi turn green and float by the ground anywhere there’s usually one. They can’t be bottled and are there as secrets refreshes
That's a red fairy, it replenishes your health and magic by walking into them. In places where Navi turns green and hovers over a spot try playing the Song of Storms. There's a few places all over Hyrule where you can summon a red fairy.
Gilded insects... they can't b... oh gold skulltulas too. Yeah. Gilded crawlies...

I’ve always found Fairies to be weird although OP in most cases also Grandma’s Soup in Wind Waker is a little weird in my opinion too

I have to say I didn't expect, and thus was glad to see, entries from the oldest games in the series. I know not every content creator overlooks them, but so many seem to just too young to have played those games, when they were maybe more worthwhile to have been played, and today they just deem so old, or disconnected from what "the Legend of Zelda" is, as an IP, so thank you very much for giving these a mention, and putting a smile on the face of the 80s kid I once was!
Yeah, Link has definitely collected some weird stuff throughout his generational adventures through the lands of Hyrule, and other kingdoms beyond. I'm not just going to sit here, and list off three more, but his deep pockets have definitely lugged some weird stuff, like souls, Zora bits, and...oh, I almost did list off three things.

Sucks that we may not use the Master Cycle Zero in TotK, due to Zelda having the Sheikah Slate and shown that Link has a piles of green stuff on his hip in the Release Date trailer.
The master cycle zero is the greatest reward in any video game ever. So many games have these long ass quests that take like 5-10 hours and give you some stupid medallion or something in return. This item is THE SHIT

If I'm not mistaken the Master Cycle Zero gets more fuel if you use Guardian parts. Like ancient screws, springs or shafts.
Actually, and it gets more fuel if you use crappy parts. Parts that you can find everywhere, rather than useful parts. So, it does get more fuel from ancient screws because you get those all over the place, but it also gets more fuel from apples, Flint, things like that.
When I used to play twilight, I also didn't like the humanoid chicken either

Not sure why you say the spinner hasnt been seen much since skyward sword, its an unlockable weapon in hyrule warriors with its own moveset and special attacks for link.
