B Rich... great videos on the Ridstar q20.... I just got mine the other day and so far, so good. I love this thing. It looks good and is quick and powerful. I'm also looking to do the suspension upgrade you made it look easy. One question if I may... regarding the brakes my q20 the rear brake is operated via the left handle; and the front brake works from the right side handle...? this is opposite of all of the mountain bike and motorcycles I had through the years. Is that by design or a mistake? It will take a bit to get used to....
By design… having left handed rear brake is safer IMO as you can keep hand on lever and right hand twist throttles. This way in emergency you don’t have swith change from throttle to rear brake on the right side
I received my q20 3 1/2 weeks ago and already have 1000kms on it Replaced the stock seat with a mini bike seat as after 4-5 hrs a day of riding I found yhat my butt got really sore Planon buying a 2 more batteies and mounting them on the cross bar on the front
The many bike shops near me will service ebike typically bike parts like chain, transmission, brakes, but only ebike shops will deal with electrically components. There is nothing exotic with the electric drivetrain and most parts can be bought online
I couldn't do the front upgrade to my Ridstar. My shocks only had 3 screws on one crown and the bottom crown has no screws and looks welded on. I couldn't slide them out so I took the entire front apart. The front fork upgrade you're suggesting the washers on the original fork wont slide all the way down in the middle, they get stuck before it hit the bottom. If you cant slide out the shocks this wont work.
B Rich solution, thanks for your help OK I have the same bicycle but I could also like to change the front suspension but my question is if it mandatory to buy the shock pump too thanks ..

B Rich solution two weeks ago, I ordered the same. I only used for a week and it turns on fine but it won't start it doesn't want to run. I went to the bicycles mecanic and they told me that the controller and and throttle are damaged. Please I don't know if you can help me. what I can to do for my bicycles thanks
Reach out to manufacturer for replacement parts. I havd this happen on my Emoko c91 and received replacement parts. While the part arrive try replacing the throttle via amazon if it doesn’t work return it. amzn.to/3DQuVbh
Ridstar has some quality control issues, which makes sense they cut some corners on some of these parts.
@BRichSolution yes bro I see thanks for your help
@@BRichSolutionhow u reach out to manufacturers for this q20
Do you have the 20 inch or 26 inch
20inch
26inc is heavy
wich one ist better the q20 or engwe M20?
Q20 1500 with 20Ah battery is much better: faster, hydraulic brakes, bigger battery and more comfortable seats amzn.to/3OpYRAX
@tomruotsalainen5909 Which mini bike seat?
Ok
Can you use any front fork that’s the same size as
Bolany fork linked in video has same size tubes which slide into factory crown and much easier install then most other forks are different size and stem is shorter needs some extra work ti get it to fit
Sorry I meant to say are they any other forks that fit that doesn’t require you to put air in them
Where did you get it from? That air suspension??
See links in description under video
@@BRichSolution ok thank you sir
Does anyone knows what the max size on a rear shock is for this bike I found one that's 230x65 does that fit
It will fit and might make the trailing arm angle down… but its its air shock you can adjust the compression to your liking
how was it? I’m considering getting the DNM Burner-RCP 2S but don’t know which size 190mm or 220 or 240? Any tips?
I bought the same suspension from your link and it didn’t fit
What didn’t fit? Front fork or rear shock?
The fork
Lol ridstar...i pronounce it ride star because that had to be what they meant.
Yes
LET ME BUY ONE OF YOUR BIKES =D
okay
Do not buy this bike no customer service cost $450 to ship back no replacement parts
Sorry to hear that. Did you buy from amazon or aliexpress? I had issue with ridstar folding bike last year and sent me replacement part no problem
@@BRichSolution Amazon
Oh I’ve bought from Aliexpress
Saying this I first bought from a UK firm who turned out to be a scam and lost £1500! Aliexpress was cheaper and should have gone to them first
I bought this bike and the rear motor cable got severed and I contacted the seller and I was able to buy a brand new rear motor and all the hardware, the people were nice and really helpful on getting my new parts too
