    Great video! So helpful as I’m currently in the process of getting a visa. Where did you get your documents notarized?

    • @ticetraveltime

      I got all my documents notarized at my local town hall! I called before as not all town halls offer this. You can also get documents notarized at public libraries, credit unions, law offices, or UPS. Good luck!

    Should I get my FBI background check apostilles first or translated first? I’m confused because it said online that the Spanish translation also needed to be apostilled

    • @ticetraveltime

      I advise you to get the FBI background check apostilled and then translated after that. That is the order that I followed!

  • @rissavele.
    @rissavele.

    Hello, is there a specific place to go for the fingerprints for the background check or is the US post office mailing to FBI okay?

    • @ticetraveltime

      The US Post Office worked great for me! Many police departments and sheriff's offices offer fingerprinting services as well, but I think using a USPS location that offers fingerprinting is the easiest method!

      Sorry in advance I’m probably gonna have a lot of questions lol. What did you use to ship your belongings overseas? Or did you just get rid of everything and start over?

      @@rissavele. No worries :) I brought 2 checked bags and a backpack! I honestly had a lot of things though and ended up leaving 2 trash bags full of things that I didn't bring back with me.

    Hi~ You said showing them the financial means through your program was sufficient enough on their end to process your visa. Could I ask around how much is acceptable on their end? The program I was accepted into also has a job alongside with it, and the financial means proof is the one part stressing me out the most.

    • @ticetraveltime

      I get paid 1,000 euros a month and that was okay for them. Other people will print bank statements as well, but the consulate accepted the financial means from what the program provided. I hope this is helpful!

      @@ticetraveltime thank you so much :) also did you have any recommendations for the sworn translators because the link on the bls website for the sworn translators doesn't work omg.. or does it not matter who you send it out to as long as they're certified because whenever I'd try looking on reddit or fb a lot of people would ask for translators but are coming from the LA or Chicago consulates (((also tysm again i keep coming back to this vid to make sure I have everything together

      @@bell_cricket I am so happy it is helpful!! I used a translator from the American Translator Association (www.atanet.org/client-assistance/what-is-a-certified-translation/). You may be able to email my person, gistg20@gmail.com. Good luck and feel free to ask any more questions!

    hello quick question. the school i applied to is an American school in spain so for proof of funds could i use the fasfa loans im taking out

    • @ticetraveltime

      Yes, I believe you can use your FAFSA loans as proof of financial means for your Spain student visa application. You'll need to provide documentation that confirms the amount of the loan you've been awarded and any other financial resources you'll be using to cover your expenses while studying in Spain. Additionally, you may need to provide a bank statement showing sufficient funds to cover any remaining expenses. I advise bringing extra documentation just in case! Good luck!!

    Hey, In order to make the appointment , is it still the same email?

    • @ticetraveltime

      Yes! Their communication isn't great, but if you email them saying you want to make an appointment, they will respond with the information they need to give you a day and time.

    @PRJCT OVOWK: I’m green card holder for 10 years and getting my us passport next year! With Spain study visa can you visit France for 2 days with Spain study visa before going to Spain , I’m from New York

    • @ticetraveltime

      I don't know for certain, but I believe that if you plan to visit France before your Schengen student visa for Spain becomes valid, you will need to apply for a separate short-stay Schengen visa (type C visa) from the French consulate or embassy in New York. This visa will allow you to visit France for up to 90 days within a 180-day period for tourism or other purposes. I advise you ask the French consulate for advice though.

    Hello is there anyone that has lived outisde the USA for in the last 5 years and then applied for a Spanish student visa it changes the whole process and I am honestly confused looking for someone that’s on the same situation

    • @ticetraveltime

      I tried to find some helpful information for you and have the below, but always check with official websites and the consulate. If you've lived in multiple countries in the last five years, it appears you need police clearance certificates from each country. There is probably more on that, but that seems to be an important step! I hope it is helpful and good luck

      Check with the consulate for the specific country and they should be able to point you in the right direction.

      Thank you for your reply,
      I am planning to get an admission for masters to my daughter in uc3m Madrid.
      What's your opinion and advice, and we are From India.

    • @ticetraveltime

      @@sebyanto772 That's wonderful news! UC3M is well-regarded. My advice would be to research the specific master's program your daughter is interested in, as well as any language requirements since many programs are offered in both Spanish and English. It's also a good idea to look into housing options before. Best of luck with the application, and I'm sure your daughter will have a great experience studying in Madrid!
