A decent overall performer,While using with 144hz a maximum of 5hr sot is expectable.i applied the uv tempered glass of vivo v25pro and suits perfectly.
The clean and smooth ui experience made me to choose the moto edge 40.
I would recommend this to those who looking for a overall phone with good build quality and in case of scratches i used 3 days without tempered and didnt face any scratches.

Last 2 weeks I'm using this phone it's amazing super slim and good quality
green and violet lines came after six months of use,(Edge 30) visited calicut service centre, after microscopic analysis they found a scratch on left top edge of display and rejected the warranty claim.
Bought the Moto Edge40 for my wife. The viva magenta color is just fabulous (better than what I saw in videos/pics). Performance has been very good with good battery support. Didn't notice any screen scratches after a weeks use, but have ordered a screenguard though.
Camera is actually good(depends on what your expectations are, there is a throw of certain colors). Going by their IP rating the phone may be waterproof(the brand had launched a truly water resistant phone in 2011 - Motorola Defy). All in all, very very happy with the phone, has a feel good factor while holding it :)
