5:52 just to correct you, you should always run heavy softwares while plugin. It never uses your battery rather than it consumes directly from your power source and it's safe to use. While on power supply the CPU & GPU can run on it's maximum potential and thus gives more performance, also you should not run heavy softwares and games on battery that'll lead to damage your battery and charging cycle too.

Thank you so much for the update.... I just purchased the 2022 version of this laptop some days ago.... I did some research.... Firstly not only hp ... Any 2 in 1 laptop hinges are fragile..... But it will last around 5-6 years if you pull your laptops lid from the middle rather from the edges ... Also while rotating in 360degree do it from the middle not from the edge.

I have the same laptop! the air intake is at the bottom, you are blocking it when you put it on carpet, blanket, rugs or knee/lap. Blocking your laptop intake with shorten its life... good video overall!

if anyone else owns this laptop im thinking of buying it do you know how the hinge is after a year or two
hi, i have an hp envy x360 15.6 inch laptop. i bought a used unit and there was a problem with the hinge after a few weeks of using it, but it's fixed. i have tips for using this laptop. you need to open the laptop from the top, don't open it from the side, if it's not balanced, the hinge will tilt. my advice is to buy a 180 degree hinge or non-flip touchscreen laptop . hope this helps
@@YayaSphi am really diggin on envy for both of my rendering and digital art works. I tested it at the store and the hinge felt pretty solid. I dont know but i am seeing that the 360 laptops are having hinge issues after a year or two but i hope not when i buy it in some time.

As an owner of two defective 15.4" envy x360 laptops, I cannot recommend this product.
I purchased my first in December, used it for about 8 weeks, and out of nowhere, the screen flipped upside down as if it was in tablet mode. I attempted to reboot it, but the computer never came back on. No LED indicators, no signs of life.
Long story:
Since it was still under warranty, I called the support center and spent about two hours on the phone before they asked me to send it to their service center for a repair. Two weeks later, I received it back, tried to turn it on, and nothing happened. It was as if the service center did nothing but forward it straight back to me. I sent it back a second time (after another 2 hour call). A week passed, and the tracking information showed that it had never been received. I called them, waited on the phone for the default hour or so, and was assured that they'd received it but the tracking information hadn't been updated. Three weeks passed, and the tracking information never showed received. And I hadn't received any update from HP. Once again, I spent an hour waiting to get someone on the phone, and I finally reached someone who spoke clear English. I asked what happened. The representative said he had "no visibility or contact" with the service center it was shipped to. I asked how it was possible their own service center couldn't contact the other service center. He said he didn't know but that it's always been like that.
I received my laptop back about 10 days later in the same condition I'd sent it in the first two times. I got back on the phone explaining how I wouldn't send it in again and that I'd like a replacement or refund. They said they couldn't rebuild it but would send me a similar laptop. They sent me a refurb with slightly better specs. I received it today. Guess what happened when I tried to turn it on. Blank screen (I can't make this up). This replacement/refurb has a different problem than my original. My original shows no signs of life, whereas the replacement unit shows LED power indicators and makes boot noises.
Short story:
Due to my experience with HP, this product, their service center and their escalation department, I will say that I have no confidence in this company, so buyer beware. HP makes most of its profits from big companies: defense contractors and so forth. So a single individual like myself is not on their radar. If your product works, great. If not, good luck beating the odds!

Yeahh.. that lets me tilt and write at the same time .. after updating the laptop software, it’s becoming better now.
Hi there.. Can you use it as a tablet the whole time? Like not folding it to a laptop mode so you have the screen ready if you needed it? Or you have to fold/close it again when you’re done working?
Noo unfortunately:(( if I use it as a tablet and if the screen happens to close, I have to flip back and open with fingerprint or password, it’s kinda inconvenient as a tablet to use for a long time.
