It's insane how many things make sense in later seasons now that I'm rewatching old episodes. For example: now I think maybe that city doesn't have that mysterious magic of making people thiefes. Maybe it just happened to be a place where they live. Spoilers ahead, even Jake can be explained because he was thief himself before and it makes sense that he wants to steal stuff. I can go even deeper and say that maybe he stole on purpose so that Finn wouldn't know about his criminal past. And Finn on contrary didn't get swwyed to be a thief in a bit. He's completely fine
They weren’t thinking that far ahead in S1. The show runner even said recently when talking about Fionna and Cake that they didn’t take over the narrative from Pendleton Ward until S3 of Adventure Time. So the first 2 seasons are based on Pendleton’s original ideas for the show which according to the show runner himself were very different from their ideas and what Adventure Time became. Basically there’s no point in looking back at S1 and 2 through the lens of S3 onwards because they don’t have the same deep lore implications etc. the ideas were very different
The moral of this episode is "the world is inherently filthy and evil, and only a baptism can redeem your soul" which is a weird take for a kids' cartoon

Have to say I’ve been loving the adventure time reacts. I first watched this show when I was 10ish so it’s craziness just washed over me but reexperencing this show now that I understand story telling better shows me just how crazy this show is.
When is the bipedal deer man episode? It’s SUPER unnerving… it also ends with a rock landing on its head, which kills it. Then everyone just pushes it into a whirlpool and it flushes away to wherever. The deer episode is an idea that is never revisited, implying that they killed it and flushed it down a giant toilet. It’s pretty dark; but I kinda wanna see what Nux thinks.
i was going to say you wont really spoil yourself on adventure time by looking up the r34, but remembered that you will, at least until your done with season 4 I think. After that you should be good, but thats your choice at the end of the day. enjoy the show.
Honestly in my knowledge nux casually watching entire show. one episode a day that would cost a entire year to finished the show and catching up the spin off since he's has a chance to not adding the uploading one episode per day that would cost him double but thinkfully I'm loving his corn addiction enthusiasts

If you don't care about that one-off episode being lightly "spoiled", then look it up now. Either way, based on your sense of humor, you won't regret it. Loving watching you get into this show
