The monster cat is probably my favorite side character from this show. From his design, to his voice, to his unique power… he’s just peak. He kind of embodies my love for adventure time
The reason finn is so skilled and nonchalant about adventuring is that hes been doing it since he was a kid, isekai protagonists just got there 5 seconds ago and have been using there cheet codes to adventure.
- Demon Cat is voiced by the amazing Clancy Brown & he is possibly a reference to the D&D monster called the Displacer Beast & the Cheshire Cat from Wonderland, but this also had other monsters from D&D like: - Living treasure chest & door with a mouth = Mimic - Flat monster disguised as the ground = Trapper - Jelly Cube = Gelatinous Cube - Bucket Knight = Construct - Flaming Eyeball = Beholder - Spitting monster = Troll - Creature using a laser pointer = Bugbear
I think there is one other character in this very show that might be on par with his ride or die attitude, but I don't want to spoil. Starts with B and is a grad student I think.
I have never heard anything further from the truth before. She has committed (and tried to commit) genocide.... MULTIPLE TIMES!!! She threw away her own frankenstein child, cloned him, cut them both into pieces and grafted them onto each other... which all started because she saw him in people's homes through the secret cameras she hid. She makes an _actual child_ do her job and fix her fuck ups. She literally keeps her own kingdom's population mentally impared to stop rebellions. She literally transformed her own father into basically her pet, to live a mentally impared half-life forever. The chimera she made in her own image to be just like her... woke up and chose violence the very moment it began to LIVE. NUH UH. I'm not buying it. She is not misunderstood at all, she is just straight up a psychopath. No further explanation needed.
You see she does do some shady shit but she is ultiamtely well meaning and isn't even the absolute worst authority figure in Ooo. She's also not even a tyrant, giving her people thier freedom despite being absolutely annoyd with their stupidity. Her problem is she's not the most empathetic person and can be quite arrogant thanks to being the smartest person in the room 90% of the time.
PB didn't even do anything psycho or manipulative this episode. She just scolded Finn and Jake for making the stupid decision of jumping into dungeon she literally had them put signs for not to go into.
Out of all my recommendations, this reaction series is always my first click every time you upload a new one. Also I actually love PB. I have my next cosplay ready to go of her. She's the worst, then she's the best.

I just realised that there are several more episodes where Finn is extremely stubborn and gets fucked up because of it, except he stops doubting himself so he's just an absolute lunatic. I fucking love this show.

This is one of those episodes where the episode would of gone very differently if the Candy Princess just actually explained why Finn & Jake should do what she's asking, rather then just expecting her "Little hero/soldier" to just follower orders. Like how the "interrogation of Ice King" she should of explained what Ice King did, so he wouldn't seem so innocent (even tho what he did was more accidently bad, rather then an intentional bad thing), while in this case she should of explained what was at the end of the dungeon (unless she secretly wanted them to go through it, for some reason).

One of his three cheat code level powers is essentially to have a sense, but not complete, knowledge of literally whatever thing he is suddenly curious about.... Largely so that some knowledge doesn't make him lose his mind or make him completely and utterly broken and unfair, but more or less the concept you are gassing up, here. But yeah sudden 'approximate' knowledge, the chains of enkidu that completely bind heavenly entities and is just absurdly effective on everything else, and a crazy magic sword wand-thing that almost one shots friggen everything. Fun. Lol Also yes he is as obnoxious and nearly self-insert as you'd expect. Lol

Tbh Nux is right, being "omniscient" but all the knowledge you have is slightly wrong is a really cool power to work around.
