The hitman hiring thing is very interesting, because it clearly implied the existance of some sort of internet 👨💻, and also services bought through it, and also the existance of money 💰 in some clear manner. I just feel that this part of the lore never got to really develop 😢.

I might be reading too much into it, but this seems like Scorcher is no ordinary "hitman" - they may be more connected to Death themselves (also a real person/entity) than the average murderer.

TLDR: Calling the ice king a sex trafficker and r****t makes people who actually fit that description seem less evil by association. I think calling the ice king a sex trafficker gives him both too much and too little credit. He has struggled to grasp the concept of the princesses' having a say in their relationship, and he is so bad at doing any of the things normally attributed to sex traffickers that the label just doesn't fit. I think if he was brought to court, it would be for harassment, kidnapping, trespassing, and assault. Aside from his uses of mind control, he always listens to what others say. Basically arguing with everyone that he should be allowed to do what he does, expecting them to agree eventually.
