We used to be able to buy small rattles that looked like a nail weight that was made to put in soft plastics and it made a huge difference! Haven't been able to find them in years tho, so glad the Googans made some soft plastics with rattles already in them!

I live in Georgia and anything greenpumkin is king here for me. I can catch large mouth and spots on other colors but they dont hold a candle to green pumpkin. I fish mostly clear to moderately clear waters mostly. I will use blue black for murky water.

For me in VA they start coming up shallow In late late February and they don’t bed until mid March so I don’t think spawning season is coming soon lol
