A game I have never played - but have watched the walks around Night City for hours and the video clips with characters interacting and for moments I forget that they are light sprites of data and actually experience their lives. The exhilaration of the music brings their reality to life and make it memorable for a long, long time......
Agreed! I still spend a lot of time in-game just walking around the communities listening to people talk. There are so many little stories and anecdotes throughout that one will never experience if they use fast-travel to get around.
An emotional song. It is, technically, a simple song, but the sound is distinct, and it pulls perfectly at the heart. Bittersweet is a good word, thank you. I kept thinking it a hopeful-despair: a tone that feels like it's celebrating an accomplishment, but with a heavy sadness because you had to sacrifice almost every to get the win. Stuck forever wondering "Was it worth it?!?" So, yeah, love that song.
The Love Song of J. Alfred Prufrock by T.S. Eliot, if anyone is wondering. It's simultaneously great to see/hear these real-world references being used, especially since it fits so well, but also, nobody would have complained if Alt had a totally unique poem to share there. All good, a nice touch no matter.
It's supposed to be music and the opening vocals are so harsh on the ears that I cut it off. Congratulations to the "music lover" who did this, a great career awaits you in the dump.
I'm sorry you feel this way. This project is more of a passion project for the game than it is a music station. I assure you that the opening poem has meaning to folks that have experienced it for themselves, and those 'vocals' are mixed 3dB below the level of the rest of the music throughout this video. I try to fade in slowly so folks have the opportunity to adjust their volume, though there's nothing I can do if the voice in the game is unpleasant to your ears or negatively affects your speakers. Best of luck with that.

I feel bad about hyping my own content, but I'm on my third listen of this already, my favorite mix yet.

Gotta love the existential dread playlist. Really good work!
this said i still haven't gotten the true ending yet, waiting on phantom liberty!
seriously, best game ever played
Agreed!
When "Outsider No More" started playing, all I could think of was David. "Arasaka, all the way to the top!"
Such a bittersweet feeling.

Someone else feels it too!
Absolutely thank you for this mix. I love this music in cyberpunk, it always sounds amazing to listen to.
You are awesome for this :D
Great mix! I never realized that Alt is reciting a real life poem

A creepy moment at 4:46.
Haha, nice find. I don't recall seeing that NPC in that dress before, certainly stands out in this situation.
This game is deep
Absolutely sick visuals
🥰❤️
