Agreed! I still spend a lot of time in-game just walking around the communities listening to people talk. There are so many little stories and anecdotes throughout that one will never experience if they use fast-travel to get around.

@@uptheresomewhere Definitely! I was always looking forward to "A Stranger no More" and the "Never Fade Away" was always a great way to remind myself to take a break after a long day! Told myself I'll finally play the game once I'm done with the thesis and I'm really enjoying it at the moment! :)

This is only a Ryzen 9 5900x and RTX 3070. Still running many settings on medium here, not even using Ray Tracing or DLSS. it's a pretty game, but it gets a lot prettier with even more power behind it.

Haha, yup! They stop for a second when they run into each other, then more collisions happen as they wait for each other to get out of the way. For such a rough city, they're very patient and polite pedestrians, "You can go first, I'll wait." After this recording, it took just a few seconds to disperse the crowd. They do not have the same collision parameters when they're running. 🏃‍♀🏃‍♂

To be fair, the game was two years old when I started work on this project. Proves how great this game's music is!

I use a mod that replaces a lot of the ads - because it's fun, and also it has SFW versions of the game's NSFW ads. So, yes, that's a BG ad!

@uptheresomewhere - Thanks for confirming its a mod! The moment I saw it in your vid, I took off into the game hoping to find the BSG add, wondering if it was linked to an I game mystery. I found the spot, but not the add. This would explain why. Thanks for the mix! It's provided a smooth background while I work and chill this afternoon!

Thank you for saying so. I totally agree! I know it's been said before, but if the game had originally launched in the state that it's in now, the reviews could have been positive from the start. Not to mention the devs could have spent the last two years making it even better and generating some solid DLCs, instead of just squashing bugs and dealing with upset users. It all turned out, I guess, but, had it failed, totally the bean counters' fault!

@@uptheresomewhere I for example did not have any problems even right after launch so I am extremely glad they released it at the time. I think that versions for consoles should have come later, that is for sure. I would not wanted to wait for a year it needed to fix most problems some people had or wait for version 2.0 where gameplay will be enhanced. :D Who waited for it to be as they expected can play it now.

I'm sorry you feel this way. This project is more of a passion project for the game than it is a music station. I assure you that the opening poem has meaning to folks that have experienced it for themselves, and those 'vocals' are mixed 3dB below the level of the rest of the music throughout this video. I try to fade in slowly so folks have the opportunity to adjust their volume, though there's nothing I can do if the voice in the game is unpleasant to your ears or negatively affects your speakers. Best of luck with that.

I'm sorry that was your experience. Maybe I got lucky, or maybe all the serious bugs were patched by the time I started playing, but my experience has been wonderful. (On PC.) Sure, funny gravity and clipping bugs pop up frequently, and the odd CTD, but I've never missed anything or had to restart to recover from a glitch. I've only logged a little over 600 hours, if that adds validity to my statement. Anyway, I'm not saying you should try again, but I bet if you did, things would be better.

It's all fixed now, you should try it again, it was an amazing game until the end:)

It's definitely still buggy, it has more bugs than any other AAA game I've played in the past 10 years, but it is fun...

Totally agree. I've intentionally sat down to watch almost as many sunrises/sunsets in this game as I have in real life!
