    You’ve got a great screen layout, with road view, instruments and your face all on screen at the same time. Well done. Your English is so good too.

    Who could have predicted we would think 0-100 in 8 seconds would be considered slow in 2021

      It is for 190 hp electric.

      Its 8,9 for the EQA 250 ! That is pretty slow for an EV

      @@MrBaseren You consider it slow in comparison with other EVs. But is more that fast enough for a daily driver.

    Rear wheel is OK if you have a motor in the 100 + something kW region. It feels saver in winter.
    160 at 35 kWh is also was too high consumption.

    What's with Mercedes-Benz and front wheel drives?

    I was looking for an EV made a test drive in a lot of EVs. Also with this car but due to the torque steer I looked further on and finally bought an Ioniq5 P45.

    You have to control with Gas pedal D- - braking. It takes some time you get used for it, finally it works fine… at least in EQC

    • @BatteryLife
      @BatteryLife  3 ปีที่แล้ว

      It reacts unusual with the gas pedal, control is hard.

      @@BatteryLife Ok, I see, have not test driven EQA yet. It might be that D- - work softer in the EQC due to heavier weight ??

    Still faster than my Soul! But I'm only 109hp. We'll see if it's better when I get better tires, too.

    It would be really interesting to see what you thought of the AWD variant which is now out.

      I asked Mercedes, there will be no press car of it, maybe from a dealer for a day.

    thank you for this test, but do you prefer Volvo XC40 or EQA? I hesitate for my future purchase. thank you for your reply.

    • @BatteryLife

      Eqa all the way. Xc40 has more power, but eqa is more stable and feels better.

      @lahaag3310 3 ปีที่แล้ว

      XC40 is way too expensive.

    Thanks for the review, I love the interior but after reading some reviews, I heard it has very poor handling, I may consider the Polestar 2. Which do you think is better?

    • @BatteryLife
      @BatteryLife  3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      eqa does not have poor handling. But Polestar has more power.

    Wow, my e-Golf may be quicker than the Merc. :-) Slow acceleration will help range. How does acceleration compare with equivalent Merc ICE car? Maybe this is normal for this vehicle type?

  • @tjb8356

    How does it compare to the Polestar 2?

    • @BatteryLife
      @BatteryLife  3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Polestar 2 has more power, but less comfortable.

    the best thing with 8 sec 0 - 100 is that insurance companies will or should give the car a lower insurance group.
    tesla 2.9 sec is part of the reason why its insurance group 50. vs my ioniq 28kW SE that is only group 17 the standard ioniq is group 16.
    cars don't have to be race cars off the line, you will only go through tyres

  • @simonmatthews7512

    That's a big difference between your two acceleration runs. Was there much of a slope or what was going on?

    • @BatteryLife
      @BatteryLife  3 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      It is not a perfect flat road. But acceleration test are hard to do on a public road.

    how does energy consumption in driving come out? Is it possible to drive normally (100km / h) and do 400km?

    Wenn man das Wort "weird" in jedem 2. Satz benutzt, dann ist das etwas "weird". Einfach mal mit einem "confusing" abwechseln, dann ist es nicht ganz so monoton. ;)
    Nettes Video BTW.
