    I'm not even sure why I watched this as I have no desire to make cards to sell, but I am sure glad I did watch. The whole time I was watching you design your sweet card, I kept thinking "why have I not used Canva to make personal cards?" I use Canva for my business, but it never occurred to me to use it for card making. My husband turned 60 a couple of weeks ago and I didn't get a chance to buy him a card and I was not feeling very motivated to dig my Cricut out. This would have been perfect to make a card for him. My mother-in-law will be 101 in September and I know I can make her a great personalized card. So, thank you very much for this!

    Thank you for this video! It was super informative. I'm curious, how do you personalize the card with the name "Lucas" in your shop? I'd like to know how this works, as it's a great option for clients. Do you go in individually everytime someone purchases the card?

    • @lovinglygiftedco
      @lovinglygiftedco  2 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      Thank you for your comment! So what I will do is design the card within Canva as seen in the tutorial. That will then act as my template. So depending on the card and the personalisation options I’ll go in and change the name, age and relation. So for the ‘Lucas’ card in particular. All I do is go in to the design every time it’s purchased and changed the name to the customers need since the card itself is specifically for the ‘wild one’ theme. I hope that answered your question!

    Hi, I purchased these cards and have printed. But just can’t get the colours right. No vibrancy or sharpness in detail. The profile ID you have is that one you customed? As I used Canon series MP2 which seems to be the closest preset on printer.

    • @lovinglygiftedco

      Hi, So when saving from canva I save it as a PDF Print CMYK. Then when printing I open up the printer info on my mac (not sure if its different to windows) and select the quality as 'Best' and then go into the color options and up both the intensity and the contrast. What that does is puts more ink onto the card to increase the vibrancy of the print. I hope this helps

    I’ve been using this method for months now but for some reason when I’m trying to print now and put the page size which is the same as yours when I go to print the images aren’t aligning like normal. Do you have any idea why

      I would double check that you have the correct measurements programmed on your printer settings. Sometimes with updates they may reset

    I used the exact cards you do and the same measurements but it’s printing too small on the card. How do I fix this?

      Have you made sure that you’re using the correct unit when inputting the measurements. For example my computer is in mm so my measurements reflect that on my print settings. In Canva I am using cm but for my computer the printer measurements are in mm

      @@lovinglygiftedco yeah i wonder if it’s my printer. I’ll try the “print to paper” option when printing. If not I’ll adjust my Canva and hope for the best!

      You need to measure your card blank and then create a custom print setting on your computer

    can we upload on website to sell these i mean if any copyright

      As with anything you need to check the copyright requirements before using them to sell. Usually artists will allow you to purchase a commercial licence alongside the graphics. There are websites like creative fabrica which offer subscriptions which gives you the right to sell products using the graphics.
