ich denke das war einfach der Schock. wahrscheinlich wollte er das Fahrzeug runter von der Strecke haben.
ja denke auch ;) Von der Strecke würd ich ohne Kupplung starten dann hüpft er durch den Anlasser runter...
+Fabian Braini Man muss dazusagen, dass moderne Autos nicht mehr anspringen, wenn der Airbag mal aufgeht (Da knallt ne Sicherung damit Benzinpumpe usw. aus sind). Der sieht jetzt zwar schon älter aus und wahrscheinlich hat er sowass nicht, aber wie schon Marco sagte... Schock?

+Jon Treacy He tried,you can hear him trying to start the engine,but the crash computer wouldn't let him.That's a standard function for about sixteen years now to not help start a fire through leaking fuel onto hot surfaces after the crash,because the fuel pump is still pumping fuel....

No. As you can hear, he tried to start up the engine, which simply didn't work. Usually, with new cars, a fuse will blow when the airbags open in order to prevent fire.so: no chance.

Ich versteh eigentlich nicht warum man da überhaupt ein Beifahrer/in mit nehmen muss. Wenn mal was passiert und das passiert dort ja oft dann lieber alleine unterwegs sein.
Das hat der Junge sich auch nicht so vergestellt ^^.
Ja ist es gefährlich. Aber es ist auch gefährlich im Alltag über die Straße zu gehen.

+Sinky On Ford's there's a safety which flips closed, shutting off fuel to the engine. It's in the foot-well. You can press it down again and reset the system so fuel is delivered and you can run the engine. I wonder if Renault has the same thing on their cars.
+Tony P Could be, I've not owned a Ford or Renault before.
+Tony P I hit a tree in a Mk3 Clio (the same shape as that only the non face lift version) and although no airbags went off the kill switch on the car stopped fuel going to the engine. Its an ECU code apparently and not a physical push button. You used to see them in the engine bay - a red button you could push to reset it.
+Adam Browne Yeah that's probably something they (Renault) should educate their owners about, to save people abandoning their cars like the guy in the clip did.
I only know about this fuel cut switch from ford because when I was a kid my mum got a new ford focus and she went in to a shop so I was bored and read the manual. lol
