I used to go in my 330i back when I lived in Germany. I had a fun time and never crashed. However, I also had a healthy respect for how dangerous it was, and knew that I was not in a race car, or a racing driver. Most of these guys you see crashing did not think that way.

Your insurance is not affected. It is highly unlikely your car insurance covers you on a track, so if you are smart, you say nothing. You can't submit a claim anyway. Plus, on top of the cost of repairing your car there is the cost of fixing the damage your car caused plus the cost of having your car removed from the track.
This circuit requires serious skills for sure.
And common sense...
And serious cars with upgraded braking systems a racing suspension, proper dampers, proper strut bars. They have a fucking cargo van racing in this video. A CARGO VAN WTF

The circuit requires skills to be sure. However, I do not believe that the cars, PROPERLY set up with good equipment need what most people think of as track equipment. Lowered cars on stiff suspension is not a recipe for fast corners. Softer springs with good damping allow the car to hold the road. Good antisway bars distribute the loads properly. Keep in mind that stock equipment on middle to high end European cars is engineered to handle the Autobahn safely. The problem is that so many of the cars in these videos are poorly but expensively modified by people who do not understand the engineering behind the factory equipment. Then they get over their heads on the track because they do not know driving techniques. The number of them spinning out of control with their brake lights glowing is frightening. Most are also looking where they are going, not where they want to go.

American Citizen my dad took his 200SX to the ring 15 years or so ago and had an off in the wet ... imagine him explaining that to my mum who didn’t even know he’d gone to the ring 😂

Sometimes on throttle sometimes off sometimes hard brakes sometime none. I was a performance driver at Chrysler engineering and i could get PLYMOUTH cars around the track fast without problems but they were mostly Superbirds. I just love these videos, at my age i would still like to run a old 930 around this track.
