Today we are making a bunch of different sizes of bath bombs, measuring them, weighing them, and talking about what the sizes all mean. Something necessary when you're shopping for molds online and need to figure out what sizes you need for your purposes.

I absolutely love that you do these for people. I remember when I started making bombs I started with my empty Xmas ornaments because not a single could I find to buy. My teenage son was super small and cuddly and was obsessed with Pokémon. So my first go was a pokeball stuffed with toys. No poly80 was used but I did use loads and loads of food dye. They did bomb though. It would have all gone over so much smoother and user friendly if I had someone like you to reference (event hough I did not social media at all then)

Thank you so much for this video. I am selling at a renaissance festival in two weeks and bath bombs are on my to do list. First time making them will be today. You are a LIFE saver!!! Soooo appreciate what you do. It’s cardigan weather here in Minnesota too. Love your channel.

It’s so enjoyable to watch your videos. Thank you for showing the different molds and sizes to make bath bombs. It does get quite nerve racking making all the decisions to start off.

Okay. So you’re speaking directly to me, I’m in the process of adding fizzies to my bath soak line. I’ve made 2 rounds of bombs so far and finally googled “what’s the best size for a bath bomb” and just like magic, you appeared.
Yes, I probably should’ve researched that first but whatevs. You’re kind of awesome and (personally) I loved the video and found it very informational.
You realize we’re BFF’s now, right. Let’s make bracelets. (Ya know…you could totally sell friendship bracelets and everyone on your channel would SNAP them up!! I know I would 🥳🥳).

I love when you share parts of your life at the beginning of your videos! So fun. I know how you feel about the cold! Last year when we remodeled a section of our home, we thought we'd have several weeks of fall. It went from summer to a week to 10 days of fall, to wintee!!! Yikes we froze our butts off! We used space heaters too, but it's not the same kind of heat as the hvac. So we hustled through let me tell ya! I love your warm cuddly cardigan.
I was so thrilled yesterday when you said you'd explain bath bomb sizes and weights! It was a very helpful reference, so I'm going to share it! When I bought my mold, I bought the largest one, the bigger the better, right? Not so much, it is a lot of ingredients! So, I want to buy new ones. I was caught up trying to figure out which to buy, lol! Scared I'd pick the wrong one, I almost bought the kids size, as I was thinking I wanted a much smaller size. You've saved me a bunch of money most likely. Having an actual size chart of sorts, makes it much easier. However, now I want to see the smaller sizes! Which size is really best to use as an embed inside an adult bath bomb, if you want your first bath bomb to have a pretty long fizz first??? This way you can just answer the question and not bother making a new video. Although a video showing how you use a bath bomb inside another would make a really cool video!!!

I’m so glad you found this useful! I would use the smallest size I showed today within an adult sized Bomb for best fizz and impact.
Now to my question: did you finish your remodel? Because I’m starting to think that there’s no end in sight. 😭

Thank you for doing this video. I have been looking at things like soap and bath bomb molds, as well as scales & the like for when I get ready to actually start ordering equipment and supplies. This is great information, and has solved the confusion on the bath bomb molds, because me and judging size, ehhhhhhhhh - no!

Ah, thank you so much! I've been going through all manner of molds trying to find the right size/shape for what I want to do. I really love the size and look of the huge moon cake presses, but I have yet to make a batch that doesn't expand like crazy without actually leaving it in the mold. So my moon cake bombs ended up being like 6" square and 1.5" thick... and ugly. C'est la vie!!!
BTW, I love your cardigan. I would be excited about it too, with or without TS.

I use a dome mold for my bath bombs. Its about 70 grams of bath bomb and I love it. It alows me to sell them kind of cheap, 1000 chilean pesos for each. Its about a dólar and a half. I think......

Great video as always… Not soap related but I feel your pain with the house construction. My dad spent 16 years renovating our old house. One year the kitchen addition didn’t happen before winter and we literally had a plywood “wall” on the back of the old farmhouse throughout winter. In Wisconsin. Where it often is below zero just because 😭 The rest of the house had literally zero insulation because it apparently didn’t exist the 1800’s.

Great information on the video. I see you're using plastic VS stainless steel. Is one better to use than the other, or do they both work the same?

Hey thanks for the video I'm out shopping looking for these molds today at Walmart and big lots and no luck..my concern was do I need multiple molds to store then while drying...is there some easy way to store them while drying so they don't get flat on the bottom. Looks like I will need to go online to order after putting cash on my card..ugh..more headache and worry because of shipping costs..right now I have ingredients except I'm having a hard time finding great smelling essential oils and I need molds and maybe more citric acid because I found a small container today..idk how fast I will go through as I haven't began my first batch till I get the molds. I have no idea where I'm looking at the stores..I looked everywhere and asked and got nothing...I will consider this videowhen making purchase

@@easyfoodchannelsa I've not found any either so we covered a bread delivery tray that has all the little Criss Cross's in them with plastic wrap, Seran wrap. It gives them a stable position without digging in or changing the shape of the bomb as the weight holds it in place
