I wouldn't attemp this but like watching it. Reminds me of fabricating with a mill, precision cutting and welding but 3 times the level of measurements.
Thanks for another great video. Hubby and I like watching your vids. Your work is awesome. Still hoping you will put a guard on your zip cutter for safety. Keep up the good work.
These projects are really cool and very fun to do HOWEVER it’s very hard to take an old muscle car and turn it into a modern super car. I tried on 2 cars (‘68 Camaro and ‘77 Trans Am) and spent plenty of effort (and money) before taking advice from Dirty Harry (“a man’s got to know his limitations”) and bought a 2020 Mustang GT 5.0. Straight from the factory and with no modifications the Mustang will absolutely run circles around those other 2 cars. No shame in owning/driving a modern muscle car, especially if you don’t have the space/money/skill to modify an old one. Great work on this Nova!
Thanks a lot. Talking with the owner this car will be exactly what he wants. The style he is really into and just a comfortable ride they will be able to go anywhere. There is always something faster and better handling out there. I get what your saying its a personal preference on what you are looking for in an all around package.
@@carthageclassiccars yes, owner preferences. I loved the Camaro and Trans Am at the time they were done but once they were sold and gone I knew for less money I could own the Mustang (plus it wasn’t a “project”). Same comment would apply to ZL1 Camaro, Hell Cat, wide body Challenger, Corvette, etc.
Hi Rick, I admire all your work and I learn from it. I wanted you to help me with the name of the tool you use to measure right at min. 26:37. Thanks and greetings from Argentina.
Wow, very cool video Rick. Didn't know the DSE Quadralink was so different from the Ridetech version. Lots more work involved. Two questions: are the front spring perch doubler plates for all cars/setups, or just the DSE setup? Second question is to ask if you have a different minitub kit you prefer over the DSE kit? Again, great, technical, and very interesting video. Great work.
Thank you Paul. Yes this kit is a big one to install vs a "bolt in" unit. The front spring doubler plates should work with anything designed to work with a factory front leaf spring perch. People use them on the caltrax all the time and other setups. As far as a different mini tub kit I wouldn't pick any other these mini tubs for these Novas, for the ones I did they all fit so no need to try and reinvent the wheel here.
Your attention to detail and integrity is amazing!
Thank you so very much that really means a lot to me the really nice comment!
Enjoying the build... looking forward to seeing more...good content and thanks....🔧🔧👍

Looks good but I want more footage of the dog!
Haha yes he isn't camera shy and like to hang out, sometimes gets in the way but he is all about some attention.
Don't need no factory fuel tank ,fuel cell will do just fine vrroom vroom💯🚗💪👍🏁,🏎️🏎️
I hear you on that, I have been there and fun to pop the trunk at the gas station

You're welcome. That tool is a Tram gauge made by killer tools. Hopefully that helps.

@@PaulKonrath check Detroit Speed HD Leaf Spring Pocket Kit is the technical term
