Three of the Smashified characters joined the Fighter roster. Three of them have been tossed into the Assist Trophy bin. One of them appeared as a Final Smash aid to a Brawl veteran. Some others ended on the Spirit Board.

I saw the finished image before noticing it was Smashified, and was absolutely positive it was official art. That is as close to an actual 3D rendering as physically possible, and I mean that in the absolute best way.
Rayman will always be my most wanted character in Smash, but if we're talking Nintendo wise, the Inklings by a long-shot. Splatoon is one of my favorite games on the Wii U, and I do believe this IP will be here for a long time. King K. Rool is obviously the next candidate if Inklings don't make it in, but then again, why not both? They're both *INKcredible*! Waka Waka!
I'm sick of hearing about Rool, so I hope they add him just so people shut up. If they so desperately want another heavyweight antagonist, then so be it. People can't even come up with some unique ideas when the possibilities are endless

there´s apparently always something difficult about the artworks: with rayman it was shirt and gloves. with Shovel Knight it was armor. B&K was fur and feathers. King.K.Rool was scales. Travis it was 3D moddeling. and this one was making shoes.
There are definitely differences in the way they're lit, as well as the way the textures are treated. Smash renders, in general, are actually a lot less refined than Splatoon renders overall. Were we to try to replicate a splatoon render, it would have taken a lot longer to match the style.
I love watching your videos, since I myself am studying to be a graphic designer. This stuff is just amazing, and I really hope I'm on the same level as you one day! Keep up the good work!
The Inklings could appear in Super Smash Bros. for NX (or Smash 6 as Sakurai may call it). Red paint is fire; yellow paint is thunder; green paint is poison or wind; and blue paint is water or ice.

I really don't dislike the idea for inkling I'm Smash. But I think that the character needs just a little more time. I'm not trying to say it's a bad thing I'm just saying it probably wouldn't happen anytime soon.

Basically it will give the game more promotion, and will hopefully make more sales then before. Look at xenoblade, sure it was there but most people never knew about shulk until he came to smash.

But I just think(not to be rude) that more people need more attention that have sticker with Nintendo longer. Rosalina has been out sense around 8 years and someone like Waluigi who has been around for almost 15 years. And yet still no Waluigi game. His not even in WarioWare for some reason. And I hope you understand what I'm trying to say. Because who's in SM3DW? Rosalina. Who's in MK8? And who got a spot in Smash? RosaFREKINLina. It's perfect, Inklings for smash still needs to be a thing.
I really don't dislike the idea for inkling I'm Smash. But I think that the character needs just a little more time. I'm not trying to say it's a bad thing I'm just saying it probably wouldn't happen anytime soon.
Nitro Nintendo1116 Character needs time huh? It's understandable, but think of how great it would be to the game itself. Basically it will give the game more promotion, and will hopefully make more sales then before. Look at xenoblade, sure it was there but most people never knew about shulk until he came to smash.
True, True. I get what your saying. Just that I don't want this to turn into something like Rosalina did. By that I mean it was something new, different, great start. But I just think(not to be rude) that more people need more attention that have sticker with Nintendo longer. Rosalina has been out sense around 8 years and someone like Waluigi who has been around for almost 15 years. And yet still no Waluigi game. His not even in WarioWare for some reason. And I hope you understand what I'm trying to say. Because who's in SM3DW? Rosalina. Who's in MK8? And who got a spot in Smash? RosaFREKINLina. But I may have just not been cool with the idea at first for the inkling character to be in Smash because of Rosalina. So I guess after discussing with you I wouldn't mind it.
I love the music more than the art itself. Still, the art was awesome!

Because it's the oddball third party pick, it would be hella cool to see you guys's take on Bayonetta being in Smash Bros. Trying the best way to change that property to be well "smash" would be a challenge for Nintendo as well as you guys and It would be hella cool to see!
