Jon. Where have you been hiding the campervan! Would love to see a video on the setup. I’m sure it’s full of thoughtful touches for solving day to day needs. Video on that please!!
@@JonGadgetI'd also be interested about the camper van. The place where it's parked is also gorgeous! Is that the Cotswolds? In any case, the area is beautiful.
Great selection. What makes the Tomtoc range a great choice is that they seem to have nailed the balance between Quality and Price. You don't want to have paid so much for some kit that you're terrified to use it in case it gets scuffed!
Happy New Year! Great products and overview as always. I have been meaning to try Tomtoc and will start with one of their slings. All the best, looking forward to you next video! Carl in the United States
🥰So pretty look, tomtoc makes a great surprise with the Voyage series. OK, I'll take the Voyage-T50 backpack🎒 for daily use and believe it will excel at the job!😆
One thing to mention for people who need DC barrel jack outputs is the PD spec allows for cables (that exist) which will negotiate specific voltages. The catch is you need a separate cable for each discrete voltage unlike something like the charge2 where you can select the required voltage from a menu.
I have to confirm I am a tight (careful) Yorkshire man and don’t part with my money easily. Upto now, I’ve only bought the Crazy Horse origami wallet and love it. It’s full to capacity but works well.
I'm glad to see wallet reviews that aren't just ridge style. I need to carry a number of paper cards, receipts, cash, etc. In addition to credit cards. I'll look into the Allet wallets. They look similar to the BigSkinny wallet i currently use. I like that BigSkinny wallets are really thin but have a large capacity and can be good for front pocket carry as well.
Hi Jon, nice to see you back for another years worth of gadgets. Any chance you could do a review of card trackers / tags especially Android compatible ones. Thanks Karl.
Hi Jon, great video as always! Just to make your viewers aware I ordered two Seinxon cards after watching your video a month ago, and two empty boxes arrived in the post today 😢
big tomtoc fan, have a few of their items. Water/drinks bottle spaces missing from them, would like to see them roll the items down the range - the backpack is far too big for what I need - carry the corssbody/sling and there's loops but nothing to keep the items secure(on the outside )
Remember that the capacity loss due to heat dispersion is usually 30-33 percent for most powerbanks. So keep that in mind when accounting for charging capacity.
nothing for me this time, but that is not the point of this comment. Thank you for showing all the "bits and bobs" (?) and stuff, it is much apprechiated. Intersting products and the presentation makes watching your videos time well spent :)
Oh well, TomToc upped their game, maybe, but also the prices. From a company making great quality and affordable slings and other bags, even other kinds of backpacks, they now charge £159 for a 20L backpack? I'd loved to see more internal colours apart from that boring blue-ish (OK, a bit brighter in the white version), I dunno. I'm a bag freak and have more than I'll ever need, but that new pouch is left in the dust by any Alpaka, Bellroy or PGY tech tech puches bags... and with very comparable price. I do understand sponsorships and you won't criticize the milkin' cow, but we can 🙂 Cheers!
II wonder if Tomtoc will offer a belt-strap for the Voyage T29 pouch to make it into a sling bag, but then Tomtoc already has sling bags available just a thought.
Hi, i just bought the ranger 55 wood and if you hit the plates with your nails it sounds like the classic red plastic ones, i wonder if its real wood??
Every time I mention the company, my post disappear... soo I don't know how I can forward you to them. John check out their find-my card. It's wirelessly charged, thinnest in the world and the battery suppose to last for about year. You know the company already from their pocket clips (that's how I learned about them as well - from you, John). Try to google the term key. And than add a word smart.
Yeah! thats the word I couldn't remember. As a fellow baldy I was looking for a hat that i can wear without having it start to smell like, well sweat. Do you recall which video it was in so I can click the affiliate link?@@JonGadget
You’re simply the very best in the EDC game. Though we have somewhat different needs in kits, I generally always find something I want from your presentations. Happiest of New Years to you Jon! May 2024 bring us all peace and usefulness! 🌿
It's a new price point for tomtoc - but not expensive compared to other main makes - tomtoc do a great budget option travel backpack for around half the price which is worth checking out
Edc is ridiculously expensive sometimes, but if you spend a lot on an actual quality backpack you will never want to go back. No idea if the Backpack shown here is actually good, but a premium backpack is actually worth it, so much more comfortable, it holds up to years upon years of abuse. I recently bought some terrible Jordan backpack for like 60 euros and with my daily use it caved in after a few months, was not comfortable with heavy loads. I now went back to expensive with the tt modular daypack xl and those were the worst 60 bucks I ever spent.
Not sure why, but my comments just disappears. Wanted to point out another and better find-my card, but my comment just disappear once I reload the page.

I'm sorry to stand out from the crowd of opinion Jon, but I can't help thinking your excellent videos are becoming more and more about product sponsoring. I find that when a product has been given or lent for the review of a TH-camr, the words have less meaning to me. I mean, give me a £150 notebook portfolio and I'll say good stuff about it. But ask me to buy it and I would think twice about that amount of money for it. Perhaps it's me that needs to come to terms with where TH-camrs are getting support from. It's a shame because I do generally love your style and USP.

Those power banks look like they could send you through time itself, or something Tom Cruze has to defuse.
I purchased a rovyvon because of you. Many thanks, awesome flashlight.

Hi Jon excellent content. Where do you get the Allett wallet in the UK? Will it hold UK sized bank notes?
Rolling square have just started to mention a new version of their air card with user replaceable batteries
Yes, spotted that, will review asap 👍
Hmmm... That power bank would trigger all sorts of questions with airport security and I'm guessing is a good way to go to a secondary questioning...
Capacity is marked on it and under limit - but agree it looks like something from a Mission Impossible movie that you would want to steer clear of!
KeySmart SmartCard, wireless charging, just got mine. Supposed to last 6 months on a single charge…
