Perfect Day in Tuscany - Exploring San Gimignano & Siena | Italy VLOG (with a little driving drama!)

- Enjoy the perfect day in Tuscany with us! We spent the morning exploring the Medieval town of San Gimignano, and the afternoon in Siena. We wandered the Italian Roman-Gothic architecture, and it's incredibly beautiful Duomo di Siena, with both towns declared by UNESCO a World Heritage Site.
Not without it's hiccups, we now know not to leave Alex in charge of any kind of directions! It's safe to say she felt pretty awful... but it certainly made the day a little more interesting!

WHO WE ARE:
We are Alex & James. Originally from the UK, but also citizens of Australia after living there for 5 years. When we left the UK in 2014, we quickly caught the #travelbug and began making memories through video and photo. Our Instagram is where this all began for us @twosometravellers but our love for video is where we really love sharing our adventures.
In 2014 we left the UK to go travelling.
In 2015 we moved to AUSTRALIA.
In 2016 we got engaged in HAWAII.
In 2018 we got married in the PHILIPPINES.
In 2019, we decided to chase our dreams! We quit our jobs, sold our belongings and booked a one day ticket to Asia.
In 2020 we became Australian citizens!
We’re so thankful to be able to live something we love every day and share with you all our previous and upcoming adventures! :)

I will freak out too if driving to the wrong area especially in overseas, but luckily, the people there is quite nice, that gelato is perfect for a hot weather.

Poor girl. You can see how upset she was in Sienna. But what a guy for making her feel better. San Gimignano was an absolute dream for my wife and I. Can’t wait for them to allow Americans back, if ever. Great video guys!

Thanks Barry! I guess each place will vary depending on location and what you may be in close proximity to. We remember we couldn’t take it up in Siena for some reason. Mostly no issues though ☺️

You guys could noticed that some towers,facing piazza del campo from the fountain side, are odd shaped, both to follow the line of the square and the rest of their building, makes me wonder every time i see them.
How comes that a truffles lover did not manage to visit Umbria at least to have some tagliatelle al tartufo in Città di Castello ( for example :-) ) ???
I have heard numerous times never to eat gelato with big mounds like that. It’s full of fillers and not authentic. But great video!! Thanks

We accidentally ended up circling the Duomo in Florence.
There is so much to eat in Tuscany, i don't know why tourists always get pizza and the likes. Pizza is not even Tuscan stuff.
