Wow this video came at a perfect time as I am planning my trip to Italy and south of Tuscany for this summer 😍 Super helpful and informative guide as always, thank you for sharing!
Glad it was helpful!
wow, this is so informative. Thank you for sharing your experience and tips. Loved wathcing your European travel vlogs from last summer !!
Glad you enjoyed it!
You are such an inspiration! Thank you for what you do! We will be traveling to Oia Santorini, Greece this coming June. We are booked to stay at Art Maisons Oia Castle Hotel for 8 nights. We plan to shop, hang out in our terrace and visit other sites in Santorini. We also plan on doing parasailing and jet skiing. Guess what? I also booked for a Flying Dress photoshoot, ahhhh I can’t wait. In July, we are also going to Bangkok and we will be staying at Millenium Hilton Hotel overlooking the Chao Praya River. After seeing your Positano/Amalfi Coast videos, you’ve convinced me to visit there next. Again, thank you for the inspiration and travel tips! BTW, I lived in Germany and they drive very, very fast there in the autobahn. I think that’s the norm in Europe, or I could be wrong.
What a great video. Thank you for all the tips on parking, food and places to stay!
Glad you enjoyed it!
Very helpful video, thank you for sharing. I am in the process of planning our first trip to Italy and the Tuscany region.

@@DanaBerez thank you ♥️
Very helpful and informative video for those who are interested to visit Tuscany. I have never been in countryside of Florence, but it is on my bucket list for sure. And I love Montalcino wines🍷😁, woow you had a great experience there. I have visited the winery once as well, but in the different part of Italy.
Glad it was helpful!
Thanks for all the travel tips Dana particularly in where to stay and how to rent a car. I'm booking a family trip to Tuscany as I type this comment and I found your video super helpful. A million thanks!
You are most welcome! Thank you for your kind words and supporting :) I hope you have a lovely trip and enjoy it to the fullest!
Highly recommend Pienza - delightful!
Loved your video, thank you. Can’t wait to go next week.
(Suggestions for future videos watch the over use of so, literally and like).
You’re welcome! Have a great trip. Thank you for sharing your suggestion. Probably not going to consider it for future but thanks anyway!
So helpful! Thank you so much.
Glad it was helpful!
We're in Rome on our way to Tuscany, and your guide was great and very helpful. We feel allot more confident in how to approach the region
Glad it was helpful!
How much was it to get to Tuscany from Rome and how?
So informative and different from the others videos, thank you for the recommandations! I'm going to Tuscany in June 2024!
Glad it was helpful!
Very helpful! Thank you!
Glad it was helpful!
How fortuitous that you posted this today! I was just planning for a trip to Tuscany this afternoon! 😁. Excited for your tips.
Thanks a lot for the info😊
My pleasure 😊
Good morning-Dana!omg!incredible travel,;))
Yes it was! Thank you
Great video, very informative thankyou. Do you know much about Castelo di Montegulfoni? I’ve read mixed reviews online, not sure if anyone can comment.
Very helpful
Glad you think so!
Next time you come back to Tuscany,I suggest you to visit Arezzo, Lucca, LIVORNO ( a beatiful and very important Town, and where you can also taste the famous Livorno cacciucco 😋👍), Volterra and Bolgheri.W all of TUSCANY !
Thanks for the tips!
Great 👍🏽 video
Thank you! 👍
This is great! Thanks for sharing. Is Ristorante la terrazza the right spot? I looked it up but the trip advisor link takes me to La Terrazza which doesn't look to be on the water. Do you happen to have a link to this restaurant?
Awesome video, we are also from New Jersey and are planning to go in September 2024. We want to stay countryside and do day trips into Florence and Pisa. Any recommendations?
We are renting a car in Chiusi as well and staying in Montepulciano. We decided to just return the car in the Florence airport because back tracking 30 mintues to Chiusi to return the car, then take a 2 hr train to Florence, is longer than driving 1.5 hours to Florence. Hopefully my husband can navigate easily once we get to busier Florence. We avoided returning in the town center because of all the ZTLs, so our hotel suggested we return at the airport.
Good for you!! Have an amazing trip!
Thank you, Dana... great video. Wher eis the ristorante la terraza? Which city or town? Thank you so much!
For agriturismos, what are the best booking sites to find a place to stay? Airbnb, Expedia? What did you have the most luck with?
Do you remember what coverage you got for the car. I’m so scared to drive but I want to see the countryside
Like your video cause it’s a dream of mine to go to Tuscany but not sure exactly how much I need to save $ to pay for this trip. So very nervous about that.
Wonderful video! I'm in the early stages of potentially traveling to Tuscany. Were there other guests staying at the agriturismo while you were there or did you have the place to yourself (besides the hosts)?
Yes, there were other guests but not many. Maybe two other groups.
We are planning a trip to Italy very soon and plan to visit the Tuscany area as well. We plan to drive up from Rome to Tuscany.. Any recommendations where to rent a car just north of Rome to drive to Tuscany.?? I would prefer to rent a vehicle that is not in the city limits to avoid the traffic as much as possible.
Thanks for all the tips. But I will say, driving in Souther Italy is very different. Southern Italian driving is what most people reference when they talk about the crazy driving.🤪
Ahh! Yes I can imagine 😮😮😅
Thanks for the tips! But also…where can I get the really cute white dress 😁
How did you go back to your agriturismo after wine tasting?
Hi Dana! Can I please ask the town you picked your car up in? We are trying to organise one now and am so confused. Thank you!
Hi! In Civitavecchia!
Do they have non alcoholic wine or juice?? We don't drink but wondering.... thanks
What month did you travel to Tuscany?
Hey Dana love your travel vlogs.
Have been watching them to help plan my Italy trip.
Wanted a suggestion.
I am planning a 10 day Italy trip. As I am travelling to Venice for a day and amalfi coast for 3 nights. After Rome do you suggest I should do the Florence/ Tuscany region for 2-3 days or Milan / Como.
Would appreciate your response.
Thanks
Wow she never responded!? Hope you enjoyed your trip
Hahah yes I did. Thanks
We had the worst experience with Europcar. Picked up in Florence.
Sorry to hear that.
How do I download the map of the wineries?
I'm confused, so which town is the best to stay in? I get it that Val d'orcha is the region, but where in there is best for hotels?
My opinion I would stay not in a town but rather in a farm house in the region of the Val Dorcia. If you like towns, Pienza is nice and pretty flat! Hope that helps :)
What is the camera you used to shoot? 😍
Linked on the description box.
What about drinking and driving? Im worry about that.
We have never been asked for an International Drivers License in Italy. We only ever use Hertz.
Neither have I… the point is your supposed to have one. Doesn’t matter what car rental company you use it’s the law.
Confused: Europe Car or Auto Europe?
Where can I download the itinerary?
I don't have a specific itinerary to share, but you can watch my Tuscany vlog and see if anything in that vlog interests you for your own trip :)
Thank you ! Planning trip with your videos
How can I access the map for the vineyards ?
@@gloritabartholomew6585 I responded to another viewers comment and it may also be in the description box.
What city are those restaurants located?
They were all located near the Val D' Orcia area
Tha very last restaurant "la terrazza" l think is located in the small beautiful town of Bagno Vignoni!
@@lauralazzerini145 thank you we found it! We hope to visit it.
@@lauralazzerini145 bingo! You are absolutely right!
@@evasquez964 yes I hope so too! You will love it.
I'm from Jepara, the city of Carving, Indonesia
It's called Chuisi and pronounced "Coo see"
