Once in a while you have to visit the other side of Jakarta, nice areas like SCBD, luxury houses in Pondok Indah and Kebayoran Baru, luxury malls like Grand Indonesia, Plaza Indonesia, near Bunderan HI, Pacfic Place mall, ASHTA 8 (roof top) in SCBD area, Senayan city, Plaza Senayan in Senayan, GBK, (at night) for transportation use MRT, Trans Jakarta, National Museum (Elephant Museum) on Jalan Merdeka

Take a boat to Thousand islands from Ancol, spend a day there. Early departure 8 am, and back around 2-3 pm. You can swim, banana boat, or have seafood meals. Better staying 1 day at Harapan Island.

@@InvestedAdventure you can go on June to September,weather mostly good at that time,do not go on November& December ..rainy weather exactly ,avoid new years eve,too crowded.
When you go there start from Malang City,there are many option you can go,by tour guide(by jeep),result price may vary,or you can go by yourself...but you have to stay on hotel or guest house near bromo,from there you can pick local guide by motorcycle of course.
If your health condition is good,you just can walk on foot in sea of sands to the top of the crater(dont forget wearing masker,or scarf)...or you can ride horse..the lil horse.
