    Use of the black wash is a good idea. Texture is a guess for me, but you made it easy to understand. Excellent explanation on the white on black for the florescent yellow and green.

    I’ve only been painting lures for a few months. Some on TH-cam say you can use Createx straight from the bottle. I didn’t want the hassle of mixing in a cup or the airbrush so I tried them straight. Ended up with a lot of clogs, dry tip. A mess. Started mixing paint with UVLS and 4011 in a little cup. Makes a HUGE difference
    You are absolutely correct that the UVLS makes the paint much tougher. Mixing it in the base coat along with 4011 stopped scratching when I use clips to hold stencils in place and virtually eliminates dry tip.
    I also them in inks and metallics. My F & W gold metallic used to clog really badly. It would clog, then blow out a blob that would smear and run. Adding 4050 and a touch of 4011 has made it very smooth and it adheres far better.
    Love your work and your ideas. Thanks

    I love using your technique of plastic wrap spots and how irregular that patterns are thanks for the idea sir.

    I love using the cheap stencils to add textures to my craw patterns. Never thought of doubling it up though, will have to try that next time. Great information!

      It is an awesome way to create textures, you are going to love it with 2 pieces , really gives a cool texture and if it is too much you can always paint a little over it on the edges of every shell piece of the craw pattern 👊

    What did you use for that stencil? I keep looking for something similar everywhere I go and nothing is catching my eye! They look great! Going to try on spinner blades

    Den gul/oranga skulle funka bra i mitt hemmavatten. Det får vi prova om/när ni kommer och tatuerar er. 😎

      Aha nice! Den blev snyggare än jag tänkte faktiskt 😁 yess det gör vi! Just väntar vi till Eline kan gå utan krukor så kan vi ta med hunden och byta mellan tatueringen 👌😛 troligtvis återkommer jag på det igenom typ 2-3 veckor 👊

    I want to get into painting lures. Stupid question how do you know when you need a paint booth? Some people have them some don’t?

    • @lureblanks
      @lureblanks  ปีที่แล้ว

      There are no stupid questions only stupid answers 😁! If you want to use a painting booth or not simply depends on how important it is to protect yourself from fumes and paint particles. You could also wear a mask to protect yourself instead of building an entire painting booth, or paint in a wel ventilated area, some use just a fan for this. It all depends on how serieous you take safety measures 😉Always read the safety advice on the paint bottles to get an idea how dangerous the paint is, if you are going to be painting frequently and longer sessions
