    The Model S is better than the Lucid, in terms of value proposition.

      Especially since the discounted pricing. The plaid is more affordable than ever. Thanks for the comment!

    Looks like I’m the only one giving you a compliment here. I like the Model S and it sure is a nice car. Also good in my opinion you chose the round steering wheel instead of the yoke…. Lots of known Tesla TH-camrs are getting rid off the yoke and going round. If you have FSD Beta, a video would be nice. Good job and keep the videos coming.

      Thank You for the comment! Much appreciated! I did experience a drive with a yoke steering wheel before and I must agree that the round steering wheel is something I prefer over the yoke. I haven’t had the opportunity to use the full self driving however I hope I will be able to some time in the future.

    So thanks for the review, and the ride along. I am picking up a Tesla model S in 2 days, and I’m coming from a Tesla Model 3, and so I am looking forward to a different experience, not only that, but I’m taking advantage of the opportunity to transfer FSD Full Self Driving, so that’s a significant savings, as I bought in at the initial offering, which was 3K and watched it go to 15K back to where it’s at now at 12K, and I’ve had the advantage of seeing every iteration of FSD Full Self Driving, and I can tell you that V12.3.3 is a significant improvement, and it wouldn’t surprise me, that by this time next year, Tesla will have cracked the Full Self Driving/Autonomous driving conundrum.
    So if you haven’t experienced FSD Full Self Driving, and oh BTW, it’s no longer labeled FSD beta, it’s now labeled FSD supervised, meaning that you no longer have to keep your hands on the steering wheel, however, because the law hasn’t changed, Tesla can’t tell you that, and they won’t tell you that, because of the liability associated with that, however, the nags are still there, but less frequent, and so if you have not experienced FSD Full Self Driving, then you’re in for a real treat, as it’s beyond amazing, it’s awesome, as there are some real wizardry like no one has ever seen before, and I think that FSD Full Self Driving will catapult Tesla to a place where no one has gone before, and to new heights that no one could have predicted.
    So the boys and girls on WallStreet haven’t got a clue, because they’re too busy talking this company down, and in the process, the short sellers, naysayers, and Tesla haters, are losing their shorts, because out of all the auto manufacturers, Tesla is in the best position to weather the storms ahead, and there are storms ahead, but Tesla is in the best position to weather them.
    So Tesla out of all of them are in great shape to come out on the other side, as perhaps the lone survivor, because they’re the leader in the EV space, and they’re far ahead of everyone else, particularly in self driving automotive technology, where they’re producing cars that can drive themselves today, and the so-called competitors are talking about what they may do tomorrow next year or 5 to 10 years from now, as if they have crystal ball, that can predict the future.
    So this thing with the steering wheel, what people are forgetting is that Tesla has imagined a future where no one will be driving their cars, because the cars are gonna be driving you, and so using your phone, you will summon your car, and the car will pick you up at curbside, and take you where you have instructed it to go. When you arrive at your destination, you simply get out of your car, download your gear if that’s the case, and instruct the car to go park itself, or go charge itself.
    So the car is the robot, and so we don’t need the Optimus robot to drive the car. We will use Optimus to do other things, and I would not be surprised to see in the not to distant future an Optimus robot or robots walking down the street with no handlers, no one instructing it where to go or what to do, whether it’s picking up trash on the street, assisting the police, firefighters or delivering Amazon packages to your doorstep, nothing will be out of reach of Optimus ability to accomplish whatever task it has been assigned to do.
    So this is the future that Tesla has imagined, and they are making history, and everyone else is watching. Cheers 🥂

    Is the new refreshed S much better in build quality? It didn't seem you have any complaints in your video. I'm ready to order the S Plaid especially at its current price, but want to see if S Owners of the newer models have any issues.

    • @Clutchcarreviews
      @Clutchcarreviews  8 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      Thanks for the comment! For what you’re looking for in a Tesla, the S and X has the better interior quality than the Y & 3. There are no complaints from myself as it is a comfortable ride. I’m excited for you to be able to purchase the plaid in its current price. It’s a bargain compared to what it used to be. Definitely the best version compared to the previous years

    are you able to rest your elbows when driving? that was one of the perks of the yoke, but I wonder if you can rest your elbows with the round wheel

      Thanks for the comment! TBH, I’d never knew that was one of the perks for the yoke steering wheel. I’m so used to driving with my left hand on top of a round steering wheel.

      @@Clutchcarreviews No worries- nice review. Have the Plaid, bought 3 months ago. Horn has been a contentious issue since it was released in 2021. Bought one right after release, traded for a MP3 last June and bought it back. Paid almost 30k less for it 2nd time- now it’s another 18.5k cheaper. Seems like folks don’t want it- think it’s still a great car. Real performance bargain now- much cheaper than the competition. Much better car than the early one, better build quality and lot of new features/ updates. May not matter if sales don’t improve a little at least- hard to justify making it if not.

    I like this car. My only gripe is Tesla with the misaligned panels. They been doing this ish long enough to get it together already! Some are worst than others but all in all its deplorable at this point. Now they have their advisors that are like all GenZ under 30 years old selling expensive cars in some places. Its disgraceful in terms of the level of service you get going there.
    If you ever owned a Lexus or any other Luxury brand the treatment is wayyy better. Doing things differently is not always better , its to a point now where they dont even care if the panels are off..Now they are literally telling customers to have some understanding of this nonsense. The buying experience for those that have expectations and not just "drive the car" type of people but those that take pride in their vehicle ....this company is full of crap when it comes to customer service and buying experience. Inconsistent like crazy!
    The product is nice but the people STINK!

    • @Clutchcarreviews
      @Clutchcarreviews  5 หลายเดือนก่อน

      Thanks for the comment! I can feel your sentiment. Most definitely Luxury brands take customer service as one of their top priorities. Quality in service always matter! Tesla has improved over the years.

    • @vilo3454
      @vilo3454 5 หลายเดือนก่อน

      @@Clutchcarreviews Yes they have improved . Dont get me wrong I own 1 and jst got it in Dec 2023, and my buying experience was ruined by these shitty customer experience trends with them. The ppl are jst too inexperienced and too young. (Not bashing younger ppl) but im sorry wisdom and intelligence are vastly different things. They r too young to understand and appreciate what working for and establishing yourself in life enough to afford a luxury cost item like this takes.
      The lack of policies that work. Corporate may stink also as a whole but their customer service and buying experience policies and practices WORK. Teslas dont. So enuff is enuff...Tesla has the money to hire the right talent and put them in the right places. They jst dont and the customer "pays" for this.
      My buying experience was horrible and stole the excitement from what would be my normal enthusiasm about getting this car. The fact that there isnt even a way to contact ant executive or corporate office regarding these crap experiences is deplorable.
      Feedback emails are BS. Someone should be taking in these complaints and doing some top down corrections.
      Their customer experience stinks!!! and its due to their hiring practices.
      Feels like a fast food joint.
      Except they need to take lessons from Chic-fil-A on how to get younger ppl to work for u but also provide great service experience.
      Its like all the ppl that get fired from Chic-Fil-A get hired at Tesla as an Advisor in their showroom and service areas!

      I’m sorry for your experience. Getting a new vehicle should always be exciting.
      I understand your frustration and yes, they should focus on upgrading consumer experience throughout the buying process and also extending into service. I’ve been lucky enough that the Teslas in my area, the store team treated me with the utmost respect.
      Happy New Year and enjoy your New Tesla!

      Exactly why I just bought a new Lexus NX350h for my wife instead of the MYLR. When I write a $50k+ check I expect some built and material quality. Tesla are fantastic but they should get the quality right by now………when they do improve I will be the first one in line with my checkbook on an MS.

    • @Clutchcarreviews
      @Clutchcarreviews  2 หลายเดือนก่อน

      Congratulations on the Lexus. That’s a very nice vehicle. Great quality. I’ve had the pleasure of reviewing a couple. You can check them out on my channel. I believe Tesla always makes a minimal change to improve their quality. At least for the new model 3, they’ve made it a better experience for the rear passenger by giving them the upgraded touchscreen so they have the ability to watch shows.
