I didn’t enjoy the vlog format with the travel and stuff. Loved the bits with the actual review content. Keep up great work. Always fun to watch PD /ZW content. Cheers
back in 2014 Street Triple R was around 9L on-road; let's see if the price is around 11L on-road for this 2023 edition... 10L on-road would be tough competition for the Japanese especially for the Kawasaki z900
z900 isn't comparable cause lack of electronics and worse handling, mt09 would be a contender but it's not available in India, Ducati monster is good bike but it's a ducati so maintenance is going to be high + the value for money isn't as good, Ninja 1000 is more a touring bike rather than a street bike and probably doesn't handle as well, and the BMW f900r is well - underwhelming - lacks power and some features that come standard in that price range and costs way too much, STRS literally has no competition in India in it's category
What do u exactly mean by no electronic?? It has all the needed electronic. Also Street triple is not road usable since all the power is in top end. I suggest you to drive one and experience yourself. Whereas z900 flys at low rpm due to high torque initially. and has excellent handling too.
@@easygoeasybe By electronics I mean ride by wire, having that opens up a whole new array of things you can get like cruise control wheelie control launch control and other stuff and IMU. About STRS not being road usable, I highly doubt you've seen the dyno graph for it, it has decent torque in mid to low req range, nothing that'll feel lacking. Z900's handling is a bit worse but not bad due to it never being intended for track use thus the terrible OEM dunlop tires Z900 is a bit more _raw_ compared to STRS, some may like it but most don't
After it comes to India, please try to see if you can get a ride on Indian roads.. to check the ground clearance, suspension/bumps, etc. And then a ride review video please
@@TheRS765 previous model was 11.5 ex showroom and i highly doubt that taxes and everything will go anyway above 14 lakhs or so....15.5 means 4 laks on taxes and all which is not digestable
@@ankitanand676 Well that's the info i got from the Bangalore sales guy a month ago, that current one touches 15+ on road. Let's see, itl not be cheap for sure.
@@TheRS765 here in kolkata, 4 months ago i asked the onroad price of z900 which was below 11 lakhs , where the exshowroom price was 9 lakhs......i think, triumph bangalore maybe charging extra for the insuarance
Lol riding a naked & cribbing about not having a fairing. I mean then what's the point of riding a naked bike in first place ? One more thing, old PD is back 😎

Any views on using the RS for touring?
R is the bike to go for. Most of us don't have the skills for the RS. Also RS is a focused track bike.
And those bar end mirrors are a big pain for the wrists...
Because you can’t ride 🤷♂️
When I see PowerDrift and Truimph, I’m reminded of Sagars first review on Truimph street triple
I must say video editing skills n cinematography has really gone way up. I loved the starting drone shot on the bridge. 😍😍😍 Keep it up PD. 👌👌👌👍👍👍
Thanks a ton!
That was an awesomely done review! Varun, that's a brilliant one buddy 😎
Can feel the old powerseift vibes
❤❤❤
Incredible video
This was More like a Vlog than a Review

It still won't be in competition considering Street triple is a smaller engine on a 3 cylinder engine while z900 is a 4 cylinder bigger beast!
@@HumourusLAVspecs aren't everything. Z900 is drab and boring...street triple is the most fun you can have with your pants on
I really like the vloging part.
Beautiful video. btw at the end Varun is somewhat looking like Shahrukh Khan.
Triumph daytona
Please come back
Done hai. Powerdrift are you guyz taking any wedding cinematography projects?😛😂
Hello PD.
Hello Varun it's seem you injoy the ride very much but can you tell us about ZX 6R and R6 when they lunch in India.
That’s the one … everyone wants to have it in there garage.
You have such a wonderful job as an automotive journalist- Varun sir
Tom cruise bike i like to call it...
What about the Average per liter? Of both bikes
Now a days youtubers wil also start testing pickup trucks and van in track tooo😅😅😅.
How does it compare to the 900cc competition though?

"My name is Varun Painter.. and I'll see you later.." 😎
Yes Sir 😊
Varun Vlogger 😂
is there any Price hike over current bikes?
Absolutely
how much is RS gonna cost ?
any guesses varun ?
Close to 15 lakhs on-road my guess
@@ankitanand676 Current RS is 15.5 ish so this one will be 16.5-17 easy.

That dash looks so ugly. The old one with analogy tachometer looked faaar better
correct
If this bikes gets a fairing nothing can beat this bike at its segment nothing not even price of this bike it would be so expensive
Looking back i
Better than Benelli
